Re: Troll Level: Grand Master

My mom didn't retire until she was 77. With the way things are today....I suspect a lot of people won't be retiring until they're in their 70s, too.

Therein lies the difference between welfare and work.

So Reagan was older when he was inaugurated, Trump is 70. Women often outlive men, what exactly is the point? If Reagan was sick during the campaign would these same smarmy comments be made? not by PJ that's for sure... :doh

Ike had a heart attack during his first Presidency, but it didn't stop a second term.

Guess some hold women to a higher standard??? :peace

My memory might be hazy on this, but wasn't reagans Alzheimer's disease showing symptoms by his re-election, long before it went all out after his presidency?

If you're referring to Hilary, ...seems to me she's not held to ANY "standards" and gets a pass on everything and anything.....otherwise she'd have an inmate number by now

It does appear he was a bit confused from time to time... during Iran Contra he looked old, tired and confused- more like Grappy in the Home than the Leader of the Free World. He got a pass on the Highly illegal activities his administration conducted... he should be joining Nixon as yet another Pub politician who needed a presidential pardon to remain a free man... :peace

You should change your lean from 'other'... your rabid right is showing... ;)

I'd say BushII is the poster boy for a free pass on everything and anything but I don't pretend to like wars we pick and American soldiers having to die for a Neo-con position paper... :peace

He was diagnosed in his first term, the GOP and his family hid this fact and he got reelected. If there is one thing that should disqualify anyone from running for office, it is an Alzheimers diagnosis.

I assume your mom was in good health and wasn't fainting and collapsing all over the place.

This is completely false. Shame on you. Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1994 and he lived until 2004, which is longer than Alzheimer's patients are expected to live after diagnosis. If he's had it in his first term he'd already be completely incapacitated or killed by it by the time his second term ended.

Bull****. His own son said that he had it while in office, and there are plenty of signs that he did. By 1994 it was impossible to hide it, so they "officially" diagnosed it.

For someone with thrombosis and hypothyroid....Hillary is in pretty good health, too as evidenced by her stamina on the campaign trail over the last 18 months and sitting through an eleven hour hearing.

Sorry, you don't know what you're talking about. And neither does Reagan's son if he really said that. They had no reason to hide it once he was out of office, which was at the end of 1988. In 1994 he was still relatively functional. If he'd had Alzheimer's in office he wouldn't be functional in 1994 and he wouldn't have lived to 2004.

You guys don't know any Republicans. Your political opponents are all these straw men you've created.

Wow. The cognitive dissonance is pretty remarkable here.

But her health could still be pretty good. The fact of the matter is that we really don't know. We can't trust anything any of them say. All we can do is look at the portents -- fainting, collapse, diplopia, lapses of attention, hospitalizations -- and speculate.

It's my observation that she has visible signs of thrombosis and hypothyroidism as it is described on medical websites. They all seem to suggest that with treatment she can live a normal, healthy life. That doesn't mean the symptoms will disappear but it does help explain her big eyes, dry thin hair, rough voice, weight gain, etc.

I'm sure we'll all be looking at her a lot more closely going forward, but I hope it will be with a little more understanding.

You talking about the turn-coat son?

Lol...her stamina...She's run probably one of the least vigorous campaigns ever.

You're one of those "male rights" victim guys, aren't you? You want to pretend some people (women, and other minorities?) are allowed to do anything they want while you get persecuted for crimes that don't even matter or are unconstitutional... right?

It's sad that they put Crazy Crooked Granny through all of this. She's out there, running around, looking haggard, all wobbly, coughing up a storm, and when she collapses on the sidewalk, they hall her butt to Chelsea's apartment? Unbelievable. ROTFLMAO

I'm sure it's not that a woman has decided to pursue the presidency. If she were male, you'd consider "playing hurt" to be laudable. But since it's a woman, she must just be a pawn, right?

Your misogyny is showing, both of you.

According to you. She's been on the campaign trail a lot longer than Trump and gone to more fund raisers and visited more small businesses, schools, organizations, etc. Just because she's not throwing huge rallies doesn't mean she's not out there vigorously campaigning.

And that's a problem, if you're right, because it's being lied about. So many trust issues with her as she lies about everything.

It takes a special kind of crazy to believe that. As if most of the country is totally fooled (fair minded repubs don't spew the BS you do, such as above) and only your lunatic fringe has the "special truth" that she "lies about everything". It's borderline psychotic.

Do you just parrot radio entertainment shows? Do you think that's being politically informed?

Sure...Clinton isn't transparent as she could be...but considering that her every move is scrutinized, judged and misjudged...I dare say I can hardly blame her.
