But the cnn special on 9/11 still brings me to tears. I don't know anyone who died but I was 30 miles away that day and I remember the blue shy and how afraid I felt that day
 
I slept through it. It was a good sleep. After I woke up I wondered down stairs to find my mom and sister glued to the TV. I honestly didn't think of much at the time except my hunger. We were out eggs too.

I wake up to talk radio... The first hazy wakenings were that an aircraft had struck one of the towers... No word on casualties.

Walked to the family room, turned on the TV just as the second airliner struck...

I just stood transfixed.

As the day transpired I was glued to the TV at home, the radio in the car and at work...

I was about 3 years old at the time, so I can't remember anything.

But I have watched lots of 9/11 footage on YouTube. That's right around the time I got into conspiracy theories.
