So talking head Donald has vilified this group and talking head Hillary has vilified that group .. or "half" of them .. and talking head Gary doesn't know over there exists and talking head Jill is saying about as much as talking head Darrell, which isn't much and ...
... Whatever these personalities are personalizing, that's what gets the media's attention and that's what we get fed.
One of these substandard candidates will become our next President.
Surely there was someone better qualified .. surely.
But we didn't hear much about them. They must not have had much personality conflict content to say.
All that matters is how outrageous this is or that is the comes out of some candidate's mouth, at least that appears to be the case based on what the media is feeding us.
And the principles of good governing, great policy-making, making economic life better for American citizens .. .. we never hear much if anything about that.
So the lowest common denominator gets fed .. and those of us starved for relevant political substance do without.
As a result, we'll get another clown in the White House .. and in other offices .. someone we can laugh at to take our mind off of our diminishing buying power.
So it's personalities over principles .. when what we desperately need is principles over personalities. Thanks American media.
Only personalities being personalities make news, while good new principled books, sites, groups, ideas, concepts and the like, those non-personalities in our world that could make a real positive difference, no one ever hears much if anything about them.
I guess people like personality conflicts more than making ends meet.
And the media is gonna give it to 'em, because people are watching, and sponsors' adds are being viewed, and the owners are making ends meet, for sure ..
.. While America slips ever closer to becoming a mere city-state of the U.N.
But hey, who cares -- at least we'll have our bread and circuses.
Sad.
