Actually that just means America and the American people are in deep do doo.

Did you miss the part where this was a Survey Monkey poll? People come to the web poll voluntarily, and there are no safeguards against multiple votes.

In your link: "The Post-SurveyMonkey poll employed a “non-probability” sample of respondents. While standard Washington Post surveys draw random samples of cellular and landline users to ensure every voter has a chance of being selected, the probability of any given voter being invited to a SurveyMonkey is unknown, and those who do not use the platform do not have a chance of being selected."
 
Really curious to see how the liberals respond if Trump should win the popular vote by a significant majority and yet lose the Electoral College vote.

The new poll was conducted online as part of SurveyMonkey’s 2016 Election Tracking project, which recruits respondents from the large number people who take polls on the company’s do-it-yourself survey platform, roughly three million each day. A subsample of respondents to this range of surveys — which includes formal and informal polls of community groups, companies, churches and other organizations — were invited to participate in a second survey with the prompt, “Where do you stand on current events? Share your opinion.” The survey was not advertised on any website, so individuals could not “click-in” in an effort to influence results. A survey invitation could be used only once.

According to 538 there's a 25% chance he'll win the popular vote and a 1.0% chance he'll win the popular vote and lose the electoral college.

Yes...I should have clarified..a majority of those that will bother to vote. i dont think democrat will vote for Trump. I dont know that minorities will vote for Trump. I just dont see a ton of excitement from anyone except the most blindly myopic partisan democrats about voting for Hillary.

None of those polls are taking into account the very real voter apathy. And we havent even started the debates yet. There is a reason Hillary is in hiding. The more she surfaces, the worse she looks.

How do you vote for this as a world leader?



And thats just a response from a PETA protester with a sign.

We had a 53% voter turnout in 2012. I will be surprised if we get near 40% this year.

It could end up in the House of Representatives. It's hard to say what that outcome would be, but it wouldn't be pretty.

I could see Trump winning the popular vote but not by much if he still loses the EC, maybe a point or 2. Depends on how well the 3rd parties do, Gary Johnson leads both Hillary and Trump with young voters, he could eat into Hillary's margins all over the place but not enough to tip any states to Trump.

I think Jill Stein is a threat to Hillary's chances. Johnson is more a threat to Trump. But Johnson has a very distant but legitimate chance of winning if people that say stupid things like "I dont trust ______ because he/she is lying, dishonest, and corrupt...but I will still vote for him/her."
