true, you aren't supposed to become filthy rich from a charity or from public service. I note Trump doesn't campaign by whining about the rich not paying their "fair share"

Both involve money. Both are conflicts of interest. They are the same.

Using his charity funding to bribe several state attorney generals to drop investigations into his Trump University and lying to the IRS might be a problem.

If he had lied to the IRS he would be taken care of. If the IRS isn't going after him then there is nothing there.

It's just coming out in the news that Trump lied to the IRS about using funding from his charity for political donations to a couple of State Attorney Generals that were considering opening an investigation into his University. His trial is still set for November.
