Incidents at the airport when President Obama landed in Hangzhou today led to a few heated moments. President Obama handled it well, but according to some reports, it still made him look weak. Living and working here, I can vouch that all of the preparations that were made for the arrival of the other world leaders went without a hitch. I would agree with many that this was staged to unsettle his arrival. The nationalist rants from some of the Chinese that were caught on camera at the time were of course not reported here.

Obama is a weakling and a fool so it doesn't take much to make him look the part.

And Cuba has snubbed and insulted Obama. He ends the embargo and the Castros says that's fine and they're doing nothing in exchange. And Iran snubs and insults Obama. He helps them with the nuclear weapons program and they turn on him.

Our friends and allies, though, who Obama snubs and insults are still friends of America. Great Britain and Israel come to mind.

Might have been payback... there was something about the Chinese president being "insulted" while he was in the US not long ago..

The Chinese know they have nothing to fear from Mr Redline Man. So a visible snub up-front and open and loud warnings and threats over the Chinese stance and dedication to military expansion in the South East Pacific plays fine for the home public and and the global audience, while it comes at no cost to China that gains face.

they're treating him like a weakling because he is a weakling. under Obama's leadership the US has lost much of its global influence.

A lot of nationalistic fervor going on now in China right now too. And with Trump and many others here screaming about tearing up trade agreements and talking tariffs, that isn't helping either. Add in the South China Sea dispute so right now things are a little tense. I'm sure they are trying to show the nationalists in their country that China will stand up to the US.

Just typical BS between adversaries.

It's China, so inspite of the usual partisan BS that everything is Obama's fault, there's little we can do anyway. These disputes have been going on with China since the 1940's, and no one with a brain wants to start a 3rd WW over petty nonsense. So nothing to see here.

I think this is all about the South China Sea dispute. The Chinese are the masters of the studied, diplomatic insult. Best strategy is to ignore it; just makes the Chinese look like the petty, schoolyard bullies. I doubt anyone except the domestic, nationalist audience will accord it any importance.

Obama needs to retaliate by kicking their door down, like what he did before:

It's quite disturbing to see the obvious enjoyment from some Americans when other Countries leaders are disrespectful to your President. Then again, I feel the same way when the KGB thug belittles President Obama, thus America overall when you consider he does actually represent your Country. Not really something to cheer or be excited about.

Regarding China, President Xi had quite a bit to say, directed at our Prime Minister (Australia) at the G20 yesterday as we have blocked the sale of New South Wales electricity provider Ausgrid to Chinese and Hong Kong bidders, due to national security concerns. That comes on top of Australia announcing it would again block the sale of Australia's largest private land holding (S. Kidman & Co) to Chinese interests. They're not overly happy.

To the Chinese - too bad, there won't be any cheering from me when they whine.

Of course that man represents us as President. But I cannot hold it against Putin and Xi that they read him, manipulate him and treat him to their own advantage. That is the game out there and playing it like Obama has and does will harm primarily the country you lead. That it harms others like those tortured to death or crippled by Assad's people because of lacking command of international methods and policy is Our fault, just as it is that Crimea is now Russian and the South Eastern Asian Seas are becoming a Chinese archipelago. The enemy was shown that red lines in the sand and all options on the takle were spoken by irresponsibles with insufficient experience and specialized knowledge. We put the guy in office.

Don't hold that against Xi or Assad or Putin. They might be criminals, but we knew it and put Obama up against them.

Theresa May is also leery of the Chinese and has ordered a review of Chinese investment in the proposed new nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point.

I'm sorry, but I see Obama as the criminal. We fomented rebellion in Syria, Ukraine, and are stirring the pot is the South China Sea 8000 miles from our shores. We screw these Nations with our economic policies and our "fiat" currency and our Banking systems while rolling up debt like the nouveau riche. Not to forget that China was left out of the TPP trade deals. Gee, maybe we create most of our own problems by shenanigans in the financial sphere. Not an area USA citizens have much knowledge of and that is what is wrong with our Nation.

It is laughable that people who voted for the biggest ***** in George W Bush are calling obama a weakling.

This is the kind of snub that happens when you haven't been playing kiss-ass with the Chinese.

In 2007 Putin laid out his plans. Bush did nothing. It's Russia, there was little he could do. Same with China.

But yeah it is old and tiring to constantly read this nonsense from the people with ODS about what Obama should do. Because even if he could do something, and did do it, the people with ODS would still criticize him.

8 years into the mans president and you are still shrieking 'but Bush!!! Bush!!! Aiiiiigh!!!! Buuuuuuuuuuuuush!!!"

Admit it...you probably get a tiny little chubby at the image of Obama going to Cuba and making con sessions only to get publicly ****ed by Castro. You probably thin it's extremely hawt that Obama went and bobbed and gobbled for Iran only to have them in turn bend him over a desk. Yeah...he's a powerful presence alright. So powerful he still has to have followers like yourself shrieking 'Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuush!!!!!'

Obama is a strong president. He found and killed bin laden in 2 years. Bush was too ***** to go into pakistan. He can only attack countries with no wmds like iraq and afghanistan but when it came to invading a country with 200,000,000 million and wmds he ******d out. In fact he said he wasn't even looking for bin laden. Bush is scared of terrorists. That is why he ignored intel and let terrorists kill 3000 americans.

PS this is the only image i get.

Bush was saudi arabias bitch. He even helped them cover up their role in 9-11.

I wasn't aware Obama was assisting the search for Osama or that he was the one that killed him. Learn something new everyday.
Maybe you don't know this but the search for Osama had been going on long before Obama took office.
While I give him credit for giving the go ahead on the mission to kill him but to make statements like Obama found and killed him are just ridiculous. And why exactly would Bush go into Pakistan when the CIA had not located Osama yet. That just like the rest of you post is just partisan nonsense. But it is what I expect from folks that are blinded by ideology

Bush ruled out going into Pakistan to kill obl. He said he didn't want to violate Pakistani sovereignty. It is obvious what Pakistanis thought of him was more important than killing the terrorist that they were complicit in hiding.

That is what people that can't debate do.

Says the guy who spends all his time bringing up Bush in conversations that have literally nothing to do with him.

But hey-- Bush was a pretty president than a lot of guys. Better than you would be if by some horrendous calamity you were ever made president.
