If you do, you have to sign this NDA first.

After that, you're good to go. Except you have now waived your right to ever say anything bad about Donald Trump, his company, his products, offshoots of his company, nor any of his family -- even his extended family -- for the rest of your life.

"To sign up on Trump's website, potential volunteers must agree to a 2,271-word non-disclosure agreement in which they also promise they won't compete against or say anything bad about Trump, his company, his family members or products – now and forever.

The agreement is a required part of the sign-up process for Trump Red Dialer, an online call system that connects volunteers for the Republican presidential candidate with potential voters.

Earlier this year, volunteers for Trump in New York had to sign non-disclosure agreements in person before making phone calls at Trump Tower. But the website requirement is the first indication that online volunteers must also sign the form, even if they'll never meet a Trump family member, attend a Trump rally, meet a campaign staffer in person or step inside a Trump campaign office."

Wanna volunteer your time to Dial for Don from home? Well, get on that horn, Trumpsters. Just know you must never again speak ill of Dear Leader or anything / one Trump.

Under penalty of litigation

Till the day you die.

This is the funniest and stupidest thing ever. I can't believe it is real, and it's even on the campaign website. This reminds me of the Trump pledge people took in the primaries.

I'm glad this thread wasn't written by a Trumpkin asking people to volunteer. I'm actually surprised that hasn't happened yet.

A fitting treatment of the caliber of people support Trump.

Now we know why Trump surrogates on TV won't admit anything bad about him. Even the Romney/Clinton people admit bad things about their chosen leaders.

That's actually an excellent observation. There's no dispute regarding the ineptitude of Trump supporters, but you still expect his surrogates to possess a certain level of intelligence that the job necessitates. There had to be a reason besides ineptitude behind their bizarre public performance, and in light of this topic, an NDA is plausible.

Corey Lewandowski is actually coherent but everyone else is absolutely atrocious and make no sense when arguing with actual thinking people.

Pretty wild, huh?

Trump is asking this of his loyalty pledged volunteers:

In exchange for nothing, other than the sheer joy of trying to get others to join you in voting for my thin-skinned megalomaniacal self, and the many endless hours you will expend doing so -- you must agree to never, ever, ever say anything bad about any thing even remotely related to Trump.

Not only that - if you're a business person with employees, you have to prevent any of your employees from doing so as well.

[Yes, that's in there too:

"No Disparagement. During the term of your service and at all times thereafter you hereby promise and agree not to demean or disparage publicly the Company, Mr. Trump, any Trump Company, any Family Member, or any Family Member Company or any asset any of the foregoing own, or product or service any of the foregoing offer, in each case by or in any of the Restricted Means and Contexts and to prevent your employees from doing so."]

Until the day you die.

Or, I'll sue your sorry ass.
Signed lovingly,
Donald J. Trump

Sounds reasonable.

And, if it were a Trump White House...

Trump calls for federal employees to sign nondisclosure agreements

Trump calls for federal employees to sign nondisclosure agreements | TheHill

"Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he would try to prevent inside accounts of a Trump White House from leaking out years later.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Washington Post published Saturday, Trump said he would want high-level federal employees to sign nondisclosure agreements.

“When people are chosen by a man to go into government at high levels, and then they leave government and they write a book about a man and say a lot of things that were really guarded and personal, I don’t like that,” Trump said."

.

If you want to online volunteer to call from your home for Trump, this is the screen you see:

It's literally framed as an offer on the website, where you click to agree:

Hmmm, maybe that explains some of the pro-Trump posters here.

;)

No Competitive Services. Until the Non-Compete Cutoff Date you promise and agree not to assist or counsel, directly or indirectly, for compensation or as a volunteer, any person that is a candidate or exploring candidacy for President of the United States other than Mr. Trump and to prevent your employees from doing so.

How is that legal???

I dont think I will be volounteering.

Please tell me this is a joke.

It's not.

If you online volunteer for Trump, and they match you up with names that you can call from your home to inspire people to vote for Trump --

Don't you dare say anything bad against any Trump Person* or any Trump entity** - for the rest of your natural life.

That's the contract. This is Trump's America.

“Trump Person” is a whole lot of people! It includes Donald Trump, “any member of Mr. Trump’s family, including, but not limited to, Mr. Trump’s spouse, each of Mr. Trump’s children and grandchildren and their respective spouses, including but not limited to Donald J. Trump Jr., Eric F. Trump and Ivanka M. Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Barron Trump, and their respective spouses, children and grandchildren, if any, and Mr. Trump’s siblings and their respective spouses and children, if any” and “each Trump Company (including but not limited to the Company) and each Family Member Company.”

** Anything at all remotely related to anything Trump, any spin-off, or that of its relatives, or it's properties or products.

*** To say "Trump Steaks sucked" publicly - - even 10 years from now, would be a breach, and open you to litigation, which would require you to hire a lawyer.

Makes perfect sense. That way the obsessed Trump hating trolls will have to think twice about trying to spew from within.

I'm pretty sure it isn't.

My guess is they took a boilerplate NDA for Trump contractors and/or employees, and for some idiotic reason, used it for that site.

I can't imagine this would really be enforceable. It's not like they even know who you really are.

The employee part was discussed a few months ago.
Donald Trump Requires Non-Disclosure Agreements for Campaign Employees

We're talking volunteers. And yes, they would know who you are, as you have to sign up with information before they supply you with names.

You should read the terms of the entire contract. This is Trump's America.

And the top Trumper here rejoices at First Amendment rights being tossed out the window for the rest of your natural life once you sign on your loyalty to Dear Leader Trump

Hoozah!

They don't ask for your address, they don't ask for any confirmation. Chances that they could track someone down 2 years from now and make it stick is pretty small.

I also have doubts it'd enforceable for volunteers.

I did read it. Like I said, they almost certainly took the NDA for employees (discussed in the earlier article) and slapped it on the volunteer site.

LOL

First Amendment?

And the uniformed and ignorant chants about something they can't comprehend.

It's completely normal for any organization to ask volunteers and employees to sign NDA's.

Most people with employment experience have had to do so.

I guess there are some with little of it.

The fact the Trump campaign makes people sign this is cause for concern.

This has never happened in the history of campaigns.

You run with it. For fun.

Go head. Try.
