Trump staffers say Muslims are unfit to be Americans. All the Muslims I know are nice and caring! They also mock foreign accents and retweet pictures of people eating fried chicken!

I believe the ideal American is polite and heroic!

You kinda remind me of this one guy from a year or two ago. I think he named himself after Commander Shepard? Anyway, you both came here to discuss science fiction more than you did politics - the ultimate single-issue debater.

Not to mention that anyone who has actually watched B5 would know that Sheridan acted like he was God and ruled with a authoritarian iron fist that would make Stalin wet in his panties. Not exactly the "ideal American"

I watched the movie Friendly Persuasion starring Gary Cooper and a whole cast of other notables, at a friend's house over the weekend, and really enjoyed it, since it had scenes that were hilarious! :thumbs: I'm going to Amazon.com and buy it so I can watch it again!

I'd like to add Gary Cooper to the list of "ideal Americans," and if it's acceptable, I'd like to name Jack Lemmon as one of the funniest American actors in almost every film he made, which makes him an "ideal" to me. :mrgreen:
