While both points are loony, it's the part about human interaction becoming less necessary that's bat**** insane - people need human interaction to be healthy, and very few people are terrified of other humans enough that they would be willing to walk around in a giant combat suit, assuming such a device were ever available to civilians. I for one would never put something so ludicrously impractical on, and I'm 5'11" and 145 lbs. And even if I did somehow come to the conclusion that I need to strap on some kind of military-grade combat suit to interact with other people, my thin frame would greatly limit my carrying capacity compared to, say, a three-hundred pound bodybuilder, who would be capable of hefting around far, far more gear than I could, thus shifting the balance of power squarely into the big guy's corner.
Protective suits will become more and more powerful, lighter and lighter, cheaper and cheaper with progress of science and technologies, which is similar to the development histories of personal computers and mobile phones.
