What Will You Do After Hillary is Elected?

The Middle East was not stable. The ME was mess.

Its always been a mess. Pretending like the instability there is Bushs fault is a bit ahistorical. And no, Bush did not cause the recession. I know it wont happen, but you liberals really need to stop pushing this lie.

The instability in the western world has always been there too. But remember when interlopers upset the apple cart? Bush and his cabal upset the apple cart by invading Iraq: THAT was the planting of the seed of ISIS. Have you seen the movie Secario? Do you remember the seen where Emily Blunt sees what happens when you cut off the head of a chicken?

And did I say that W Bush caused the crash? I said, he stood by when he knew it was going to happen. Sort of Benghazi on steroids.

So, it will be some sort of miracle if Hillary Clinton is not elected president and this question is really for her political rivals: What do you plan to do when she gets elected? How are you going to handle it, and what do you see yourself doing to improve your position in the hope of getting your candidate elected next time?

Heh.

Well, clearly Trump's effort to win over minority voters was a success. Without black and Hispanic voters he would not have won. Republicans should continue such efforts and do it the way Trump did it -- appeal to them on the basis of who will promote jobs, safe neighborhoods, and good schools, NOT by pandering to amnesty supporters (which is an issue Hispanics are split on).

As for progs, they should just go right along with their current ideas about how the world works. Yes, progs, it's all racism and homophobia and misogyny and so on. It is doing great things for Republicans.

The Democrats have been almost completely destroyed at the state and national level. They control almost nothing above the municipal government level. Don't change a thing, Democrats.

Well your side is not coping to well with the miracle...LOL

Well, it's not my side; I just thought she was the better choice. And nobody but hard core Trump fans is doing very well with Trump.

I thought she was the least bad choice, but the people have spoken. Now it's up to Trump and his Republican Congress to keep the promises he made to the American people.

But don't you fin it interesting that trump is actually the very first complete outsider ever elected. Washington, Grant, Jackson and Eisenhower were hero generals. Taft was an oil supporter and solicitor general prior to election to the White House. Trump is actually the very fist guy who wasn't plugged into out political system as such prior to his election.

That is interesting. What do you conclude from that?

ISIS is an offshoot of AQ in Iraq. AQ in Iraq is an offshoot of AQ. AQ formed and spread under the watchful eye of Bill Clinton. To use a common liberal phrase: Bush inherited AQ from Clinton. Then using a familiar liberal formulation: ISIS is, therefore, Clintons fault.

It should be pointed out that in January of 2014, Obama called ISIS a JV team. Bush, it should also be pointed out, left office in 2009. So 5 years after Bush left office, ISIS was JV in the words of Obama. There was no ISIS when Bush left and AQ in Iraq was decimated. Obama has been president for the last 8 years and if your argument is that the middle east is worse off today than it was when he took office--which it is--then you can only objectively conclude that Obamas foreign policy has been a failure.

So, now we're going to find out if the Republicans really DO have all the answers.
I unappologetically voted trump and now its time to put up or shut up. Its time to inject free market open competituon principles bact into society and see where the experiment gets us

The more often this thread pops up in 'new posts' the funnier it gets.

Well that's the thing isn't it. News reports are that Ryan et al are telling trump that the border wall and immigration may not fly, so there's half of his agenda. The first thing to change will be Obamacare: word is that they'll modify it, not wipe it out, as they have no alternative in mind yet. I'm waiting for 'em to push some sort of "health savings plan" which of course won;t do anything as those who need the health care are working two and three jobs as it is. The tax thing will be interesting too; I remember GW sent me a check for $685 as the result of a cut, but in the big picture - so what.

Yeah, we'll see what happens. Ryan is like a puppy dog with a new toy.

No, that's not really true. The leader of ISIS, was a guy that tried to make in AQ and was rebuffed, but when Iraq was left a mess, he surfaced and Iraqi generals joined him. PBS Frontline did a documentary on it a few months ago that was real informative. ISIS is the direct result of the invasion of Iraq. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld; mostly Cheney and Rumsfeld, destabilized the ME to the point of no return. Word is now that the Saudis are going to collapse from their own weight pretty soon. The ME foreign policy started out as a failure because it's priority was strictly commercial rather than a partnership for constitutional monarchies and democracy.
