A race of people whos name can not be spoken.

I believe that people of color should be addressed by the name given to their nationality, ie: African, Asian, Israeli, Arab....... you get the idea.

Or, here's an idea, let's just call them people. And if they are corrupt people who commit crimes, let us call them thugs or criminals. And if they break the law and come here illegally let us call them criminals. And if they want to kill because they are evil, let us call them terrorist. See, we really can let go of black, white, Hispanic and other...if we want to.

Calling people out for what they really are is racist. Where have you been?

He only functions in monochrome. European American? Australian American Like Africa, Asia, and Arab, they're not nationalities. What's wrong with simply "American"?

Australian is a nationality. You racist!

It's because we're all sorts of colours, isn't it!?

I always laugh at the term African-American. Of the people that I know that were either born in Africa or had parents born in Africa, two of them are white. The others are the adopted children of my new carpool partner. "African-American" is a stupid term to use to describe black people, since they are multiple generations removed from Africa. I've got a better claim on being a Norwegian-American (3 generations removed from Norway) than most blacks do of claiming to be African-American.

Not to mention the fact that not all black people are of African decent.

it's just spoken in private now, it's not a good sign when negative feelings are internalized and discussion of the cause is banned. at some point it all gets released. the black 'race' is digging itself a very dangerous hole.

Outside the contexts of specific organisations, what exactly do you think has been "banned"?

Businesses and the like have every right and in some cases duty to promote internal environments and public images which facilitate their objectives. Beyond that, my understanding has always been that there is no law in the US preventing you from saying "the N word" to your heart's content.

Of course in most places - and regardless of skin pigmentation - vicious racial slurs like that are not considered socially acceptable. It sounds like you think they should be?

Since the human race originated in Africa, aren't we all African Americans?

Funny story, my friend is an English teacher in a predominantly black school. He teaches 5th grade. Of course all the black kids there associate themselves with Africa, African-Americans, so they are very interested in their history coming out of Africa. So they get a new kid in their class who had just immigrated to the US. You think they would be interested in him, nope, .... he was too black and talked funny so the kids shunned him.

My skin color varies with the seasons. I must be a Chameleon American.

I wonder if Trump eats too many Cheetos. I see a distinct similarity in color. Orange lives matter too.
