Here's why Democrats are turning their backs on Hillary in droves

Part of the reason for that is due to Trump getting all the attention. That makes it easier for the MSM to let Hillary's corruption to fly under the radar.

Now that Trump is behaving, Hillary is less able to avoid acting like a candidate and may be forced to have unstaged press conferences.

I personally think the Sanders voters are concerned about baking corruption into the government cake.

When all is said and done Bernie Sanders supporters will vote for Clinton far more often then they will vote for Trump. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that more of them voted for Stein than Trump.

I'm a Bernie backer and I refuse to support Hillary (The title of the article...not me personally)

There are actually some VERY wise and perceptive people on the Left. Sadly, none seem to visit this forum <sigh>

I've only ever been registered and identified as a Democrat. The Democratic Party is the party of social justice that looks out for the less fortunate, right? The party of the middle class, advocating for equality and progress, while the Republican Party, is ... well ... stuck in the distant past.

Being a stereotypical partisan hack is "wise and perceptive"?

I give Trump behaving about a week. That's probably even generous.

I want Trump to be Trump not another politically correct bought and paid for party puppet doing the bidding of the rich and powerful.

I have to agree with the article.

I was really hoping for a choice between strong leaders this election. Unfortunately with Hillary as the democrat candidate their is no choice. I will have to go with Trump. I know Hillary is the wrong choice.

What a stupid article, so basically hes saying "dont vote for clinton because she supports some of the same things right wingers support and we all know how you liberals hate that stuff", what patronizing nonsense. Obviously she is more right wing then bernie thats why she won the primary

Now now....the keyword was "some"....not many....but some exceptions in a field of doped sheep ;)

Well considering he IS the rich and powerful, and I assume most of his friends are...I tend to think he will be influenced.

Good point and well said.

Trump may or may not be a good choice, but Hillary is beyond a shadow of a doubt the wrong choice.

I like that.

Thanks

Are all Communists always THIS clueless and so far off point ? Say it isn't so.

She won the primary because very deep pockets paid for her to win the primary. That was not the case with Trump.
She will also be obligated to pay all those donors back with lucrative favors....regardless of national origin and whether or not those interests harm the American people.

Let's see, maybe all donations from insanely deep pockets were made simply because they love Bill & Hillary. I think not.

In contrast, Trump's campaign funding has largely come from individuals. Imagine that. People supporting a candidate.
Trump won the primary purely based on a message that many Americans wanted to hear. A pro-America message from a politician for a change (God forbid)

About 80% of the Bernie supporters will go to Clinton. What some random yoyo writing for a conservative web site says is not relevant.

I see it just the opposite.

It is quite clear they cannot buy him. He doesn't need the money.
The rich and powerful fund and own both parties but Trump has managed to thwart every effort they have made to eliminate him.
It is also clear the republican party is tolerating him only because he has the support of the people over their bought and paid for puppets.
It is also clear the rich and powerful who own the media have been using their power to crush him. Yet the people still support him.
I as well as a lot of Americans are tired of being manipulated by the rich and powerful and Trump appears to be the only one they don't own and control.
It has become all too clear that the rich and powerful want the cheap labor from Mexico and have no intention of paying American citizens a livable wage.
Otherwise securing our border would be a priority not a ball and chain around Trumps neck. Even the unions may see through this after being left high and dry by Obama.

On the other hand Hillary has been well paid for. There is no question about that. She is clearly their bought and paid for party puppet. I think even the democrats know that after what Bernie said about her. In the end he proved to be nothing more than a party puppet as well when he supported her. A devastating blow to his supporters. If he believed in half of what he said about her he should have never endorsed her.

After Obama beat her when she was the odds on party favorite the party should have realized even some of the most loyal democrats are not going to buy her train load of crap. As the unions continue to be crushed by cheap labor the democrats will lose their support as well. Leaving only the government workers and those dependent on government still loyal to the democrat party. You can blame the republicans and Bush for NAFTA but is was a Clinton that got it done after Bush failed. Even the people currently dependent on the government want the American dream and you can only get that with good paying jobs not government hand outs.

Agreed. You have to be blind not see that Hillary is owned by the rich and powerful. Trump has the support of the people no matter how much propaganda by the media (also owned by the rich and powerful) try to crush him. I hope he continues to be out spoken especially if elected and fighting a congress owned by the rich and powerful. Maybe the people in this country will wake up and take back our government by voting these crooks out of office.

By looking at the polls there are more conservatives against trump than there are liberals against Hillary. We shall see.

I don't trust polls or the media anymore.

But hear this...no matter who "wins" in November, it will not be so good for the American people imo. But I cannot in good conscious vote for another Dem looking at the world collapsing around us.
