Obama the Great

Obama is leaving office on a high note. This ought to throw him up on Mount Rushmore.

Obama, another example of the D saving us from the disaster left behind by the GOP.

You have gone completely to the dark side, haven't you?

Yeah, done nothing good...like that longest-in-American-history stretch of positive private-sector job growth (which is still continuing today).

ANY politician would kill in order to be able to have that on his resume...but it's Obama who's done it. If he'd had an (R) behind his name, YOU yourself would be calling for his face to be added to Mt. Rushmore...but because he's got that (D), well, ha-rumph!, we must NEVER give him credit for doing anything right ever!

You mean except for blacks, right?

Huh?

1.5 GDP average.

Race relations set back 40 years.

Libya, Egypt, Syria, and Benghazi fiasco's.

A armed and militant EPA.

Got his azz kicked by the JV team.

Navy crews running up and down the pier cannibalizing parts from other ships to meet deployment schedules. Air Force scrounging for parts and fuel. Marine pilots grounded for lack of funding.

43 million relying on food stamps to get by.

Shovel ready jobs fiasco.

The continuing Veterans administration fiasco, where patients die waiting for care while hand picked administrative cronies get bonuses.

The 'tide has begun to turn???' After 8 years, 'the tide has begun to turn??' That's some accomplishment. But if you want to give Obama credit, that's fine, what did he do? If ever there was a man who followed trickle down economics, its Obama. For the last 8 years all we have seen is the FED flood big banks and Wall Street with free money. Looks like 'the tide has begun to turn' and the wealth of the rich is beginning to trickle down to the rest of us. Hail Obama!!

more right wing ignorance

Enlighten me with your left wing brilliance then. Or will that require you to post more than a single sentence, using capitals and punctuation that you don't seem to have yet been taught how to do?

He's leaving office with Americans doing better today than they were when he took over. We can't say the same for your boy, George.

Sure, you can claim that Obama had something to do with this, but I think the reality is that the private sector did this in spite of Obama's policies.

Indeed. Of course, if your partisan blinders prevent you from seeing these things and any other negative realities, well, yeah, then of course Obama's the greatest, most perfect president. For those grounded in reality, not so much.

He's leaving office with Americans doing better today than they were when he took over. We can't say the same for your boy, George.

He's also leaving office with some Americans doing much worse than they were when he took over.
Consider labor participation rate at it's lowest.
Consider house ownership rate at it's lowest.
Consider minority unemployment being at its highest.
Consider race relations the worst its been in the last 40 years.
Consider the loss of prestige and influence on the world stage.
Consider the chaos in Libya he and Hillary caused to happen.
Consider the the raise of ISIS which he and Hillary allowed.

It's not all hearts and flowers.

I think that's true. Things are better today than in 2009. Like I said, if you want to thank Obama, you have to also thank trickle down economics. The Obama era will be known for how well the uber-rich have done. But it is good to see that finally some of that good fortune is trickling down to the masses.

The tide has "begun to turn"? Seriously?

This thread has to be a joke. Nobody would claim that statement is a good thing considering the man has been in office for 7 years and 6 months. In the business world and the real world nobody is given 7 and a half years to begin to turn a tide.

Heaping made up praise on Obama is as absurd as heaping made up praise on Trump.

the depth and breadth of your ignorance is really more than I can fathom. as regards my lack of punctuation... :fart2

Gee the Clinton New Network praises Obama what a surprise. Sorry but CNN has no credibility what so ever. Let me know when something more credible, like Alex Jones maybe, posts some news about Obama.

What does cheaper gas have to do with who's in office?

Focusing on and investing in good energy policy. Raising Fuel standards for the auto industry. Ending decades old barriers to trade with Iran, and allowing for increased oil production at home have all helped keep gas prices reasonable.

I think more importantly though the cheap gas remark is aimed at all the idiot conservatives who tried to blame Obama for higher gas prices earlier on in his term. If you're going to blame him for that then you have to give him credit for low prices today. In reality though it makes a lot more sense to give a president credit for the state of the country towards the end of his second term than towards the beginning of his first. What subtle influences he does have a greater impact over time.

I suspect there are many things that you cant fathom. Have a nice day.

you defend your ignorance by demonizing others.....classic right wing

Says the person who has done nothing but call me names in every post rather than answer a simple question. You must be a right winger.
