Are you buying into the Drumpf campaign's line that the polls couldn't possibly be right based on how big and loud his rallies are?

Wanna know how to immediately discredit your point of view? Using "Drumpf."

Sorry I can bestow just one Like. LMAO.

And so as not to disappoint OP, my answer is yes. Nobody in their right mind wants to listen to people like you denigrate their candidate. So most won't give you the opportunity.

Let me ask you a question, didn't all the polls and all the media say Trump didn't even have a snow balls chance of being Nominated, he was just a sick joke?

Yet here we are the two candidates are pretty much in a dead heat and that's with Hillary outspending Trump 10/1 and the MSM trying desperately to derail Trump every single day.

So you tell me. Are you buying the hype that has thus far been proven wrong?

Kool Aid crowd is reading Drudge, who tells them that Hillary is on life support and Trump is making a comeback. So, I would not hold my breath on these people seeing the writing on the wall.

The general population is not on the same page as the GOP voting base. But, feel free to hope for change.

My comment has nothing to do with the GOP voting base it is based on the general population, the general population said Trump would never get anywhere, but feel free to keep your head up your ass.

Those are the people who will not vote for him. My point stands.

Similar to the use of Hussein constantly with Obama. It's an immediate sign to tune out and to assume that no legitimate honest discussion is possibly going to take place.

I don't think the polls are horribly off, but I also think that between margin of error and being that we haven't even had the first debate yet, the polls are of little import at the moment.

Donald Trump is a liar, a huckster, a deadbeat and a liberal and him running as a Republican, and getting the nomination, should be embarrassing.

That said, the OP should be embarrassed, too.

Kool-Aid crowd? It that the Trumpkins or the Clintonistas?

Newest poll-skewing joke, er, effort out of the Trump "campaign" comes from KellyAnne Conway (gawd she looks like she's about to cry every time I see her on camera; poor thing). Apparently the polls are "all wrong" (make that ALL WRONG) because there are legions of "undercover" Trump voters out there somewhere and pollsters can't find them. That just can't be true. Rasmussen has no problem finding subjects for his polls who don't exist. I'm sure KellyAnne can "find" those kinds of people, too, if she really tried harder.

Is that what you have to keep telling yourself so you don't say up at night worrying that the corrupt, lying, constitution hating, crook might not win the election?

Media, yes. Polls, no. Trump led in pretty much every poll taken during the primaries. And there is no dead heat at all right now. Clinton still leads Trump outside the MOE in national head to head polling but where the pain for Trump is the greatest is in the state polls. That's why even disregarding states currently in the "toss-up" category, Clinton's EV total puts her over. Her leads in many battleground states are near or above double digits. Remember the popular vote doesn't really count? It's the EV that puts someone into the presidency.

I guess your answer to the question of this thread must be yes, then.

Drumpf is his original German paternal family name. Why do you think it's derogatory? You make a lot of unfounded assumptions in your first sentence up there. But the most interesting thing is you obviously didn't "tune out." BTW, Hillary's lead in the averages of the national polls is outside the MoE and her leads in many of the battleground states (VA, WI, MI, PA) are not just outside of it but are near or above the double digits. Things could change. In fact, it's almost a certainty that the polls and the final election results will be tighter that it looks now. But, there hasn't been a candidate in modern histroy in Trump's condition right now who's won an election (unless you go back to the 1948 election when polling was still in its infancy compared to today). But, I don't blame any Trump supporter for holding on to hope--as long as that hope doesn't involve a violent reaction if they end up on the losing end.

I wonder about that, given that the "The only way were going to lose is if the lection is rigged" seed has already been planted and the DNC derailment of Bernie certainly lends credibility to the argument.

The other thing I wonder is how violent will the reaction be if Trump wins? Not only from the voters but the politicians that would now have to play ball with him?

Yeppers!!! It's like starting a thread with the question "How many of you morons would vote for Hillary?" No one is going to take a poster seriously who starts out by showing that they can't act with a modicum of respect.

Just as Hussien is Obama's actual given middle name. Doesn't change the fact that neither individual uses said name as a regular monicur, and those that refer to them as such are doing so for purely negative reasons. You're not different than the "Hussein" bunch, just a different shade of the same thing.

Also, not a Trump supporter.

Nope.

Most commentators did. Most polls said the precise opposite, and continued to be accurate (with one huge notable exception of the Democrat Primary race in Michegan) throughout the primary season.

That's why Trump spent so much time talking about his polls during the primary - because they were saying he was going to win. Now he doesn't talk about polls much, because the exact same polls are saying he's going to lose.

Yet here we are the two candidates are pretty much in a dead heat

According to the RCP average, Trump is currently losing by 5.4%. In the last 25 polls, Trump has won precisely zero. At this point in the 2012 race, Romney was losing by 1%. At this point in the 2008 race, McCain was losing by 1.7%. Trump is losing (again) by 5.4.

This race isn't a dead heat. Hillary has a not-impossible-to-surmount, but heavy-favorite lead.

and that's with Hillary outspending Trump 10/1

Yeah. Curious how the Super Duper Billionaire That Had All That Money is mostly taking GOP money and using it to bankroll his own businesses instead of trying to campaign with it.

and the MSM trying desperately to derail Trump every single day.

Gosh. If only someone had warned Trump fans the MSM would turn on him. You know, like repeatedly. For months.

Funny how that works isn't it? Guess he doesn't want to go bankrupt again :lamo
