Apparently his corrupt tie to Putin were causing respective GOP donors to recoil in horror. The train wreck continues.

This is very good news for the McCain campaign.

Not likely the reason. More likely he candidate wants to blame someone other than himself for the train wreck.

3 Campaign Managers in as many months.

With Ailes and Bannon on board, however, and the GOP's donor and contact lists made available to them, I think that the Trump Entertainment Network is well along on it's way, and just has to get through the rest of the "Campaign" before they can officially kick off operations.

Maanfort was treated like toilet paper by Trump - used to do a job - in this case shepherd hi through the GOP Convention. Once that was over, and it was publicized how dirty and soiled he was from the Russian money scandal, Manafort became an anchor no longer needed.

So Trump is learning the game, it seems.

Previously, he would simply double-down on this stuff, and shout louder!

Interesting back story is that Trump is casting his children and Jared out of his inner circle. They have been notably absent from his side. Could be a choice of the children though...

Yes, but here Trump has another problem:

Roger Ailes is under a cloud due to his sexual harassment problems! :doh

Which is why the Trump campaign is denying any official association with him.

But you are right here - If Trump gets into office with Ailes at his side, we will see the biggest propaganda effort since TASS & Pravda!

After all, this has been Aile's domain since before Murdoch tapped him for Fox: GOP Presidential PR.

What was corrupt about his work for Iron and Steel companies in Ukraine 10 years ago and what did that have to do with Putin?

The learning curve for him is so steep - he could never learn enough to actually turn it around this year.

Yeah. I'm sure Trump cares very deeply about htat....

That too, no doubt. But I was referring to after they lost. They've built up a core audience who will buy literally whatever insane thing Trump says, no matter how disconnected from reality. Whether that's out of tribalism (and wouldn't survive a campaign loss) or not I don't know, but they may be thinking they can turn it into a loyal brand following.

Ah, but this isn't about what Trump thinks or cares about; it's about public perception in terms of votes cast. (and that's a function of how much damage occurs from opposition and media attacks)

Good point. Yes, I agree. Trump is fostering a tribal splinter group, no doubt. He's actually (sadly) doing a pretty good job.

But I thought the ties were all leftist lies. The level of ineptitude in the Trump campaign has reached mesmerizing heights, and I mean that literally. I don't think the country is truly aware of what's going on. This isn't an incompetent campaign; this is a political meltdown of one of only two pillars on which the state rests.

I think there's a lot of truth to your statement.
They probably have Russian Oligarchs waiting in the wings to invest in the venture.

Ailes/Murdock have a long history of influencing elections all over the world. And this election cycle FOX was turned into #Never Cruz and ultimately the Trump Super Pac. Unfortunately it is a place where many Republicans go to get information especially in an election year and they got fed Trumpaganda.

Same with talk radio. Hosts like Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham, Coulter used their microphones during the primary cheerleading for Trump. And let's not forget the bloggers like Bannon's Breitbart.

I hope when Trump goes down, and he will, that these folks all go down with him for misleading their viewers and listeners.

Agreed. The Neocons are thrilled with having someone opposed to the traditional military industrial complex moved out of the way. Although I don't know why Trump hired Manafort. Trump obviously hated the man and never listened to anything Manafort told Trump.

No, they will abandon Trump, just as they abandoned Palin. Nothing upsets tribalism as much as losing and Trump's loss is going to be YUGE!!!

Exactly. It was a media created scandal to begin with. It had nothing to do with anything. It's like blaming the construction company for building Neverland because Micheal Jackson was a creep.

And the irony to all this Russia talk is that Hillary and Bill are the ones with the actual deals with Putin.
