Of course, when it comes to the attacks on Hillary, many of us already see the open misogyny. But, according to this article, we haven't seen anything yet. Just wait until after November 8. The misogyny will be even worse than the racism of the past 8 years.

Why a Hillary Clinton Presidential Win Means a New Era of Public Misogyny - The Atlantic

“Sexism is more socially acceptable than racism,” said Jennifer Lawless, of American University. Multiple women, in fact, brought up a couple of examples from Hillary’s 2008 campaign. One was the low-grade sexism of some in the mainstream media. (MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is still considered the worst offender, with his “Nurse Ratched” crack and gripes about Hillary’s “cackle.”) Then there were the two hecklers at a New Hampshire rally who waved signs and chanted, “Iron my shirt!” Clinton laughed it off, and the incident was reported mostly as dumbass 20-something guys acting like dumbass 20-something guys. But if someone had yelled an equivalently demeaning remark at Obama—like, say, “Shine my shoes!”—the public response likely would have been very different.

Gillard agrees. “In some ways, I think we put a burden on women in the face of gender attacks that doesn’t necessarily play out in the face of racist attacks,”

I look forward to being called a sexist by the left almost every time I speak against Hillary.

Really though, being called a sexist doesn't even phase me anymore.

Also...

Just as Obama’s presidency helped bring unresolved issues about race into the mainstream political discussion, a Hillary presidency would likely do the same for issues like equal pay and child care

What is this ****? Oh, it's going to be fun dealing with the stupid debunked equal pay issue for the next four to eight years.

Depends on what you say. Those calling her cankles, bitch or saying only neutered men would vote for her have already tipped their hand. Someone saying, she's a liberal crook hoodwinking the ignorant is not misogynist. But, someone calling her a c-word obviously would be.

This article is just doing the same bs Sony tried with their terrible Ghostbusters revamp; they knew it was in trouble, so they started trying to lay the groundwork misogynist would hate it...
Oh look, here is a lefty rag trying to lay the ground work that any disagreement with herself is misogynist.

Amazingly unoriginal.

How do the apologists for Sen. Clinton explain the open misogyny of Sen. Clinton in the smears on the women accusing Bill Clinton of various crimes? How do the Clinton apologists explain the laughing as Sen. Clinton talked about getting a child rapist, who she admits was guilty, off? When you hate a whole country it doesn't work to try and break down different groups as hated. Sen. Clinton hates all of us.

I call women a bitch when they're a bitch. My sister is a bitch and everyone I know that knows her agrees that she is a bitch. Why? Because she is an unpleasant, self centered, condescending, verbally abusive person that thinks she is entitled to everything. Or in other words, she is a bitch. Everything I just said applies to women being called ****s too. Sometimes they're just ****s.

I read he article this morning linked to POLITICO. And it is a good article that brings up lots of excellent points.

I hate the title however and feel it contributes to the very thing the article seems to be against.

Liberals have jumped the shark with the race card and the sexist card.

Hey OP...why do you hate Bernie Sanders voters?

We've all been guilty of labeling those kinds of women that way. Doesn't make it right.

Be honest. dont you feel at least a LITTLE BIT stupid for regurgitating bull**** and ignoring the fact that countless liberals and women hate Hillary Clinton, and STILL knowing that fact, people will shriek "wAAAAAH!!!! MISOGYNY!!!" if conservatives oppose her?

Come on....be honest.

The article makes some quite valid points but then veers into the (microagression?) abyss:

You know the routine: She’s not a strong leader. Or, She’s too abrasive and aggressive.

Other than the use of gender based pronouns (she vs. he) which are not misogynist much the same has been said by Hillary of Trump. One has to wonder, when the gender (misogyny?) card is played so freely, whether that is not being done just to say (imply?) that a woman deserves to be treated differently (more gently?) - which is sexist.

"Worse than the racism of the past 8 years"

Lol.

Leftwing racebaiting bull**** antics whereupon everything under the sun which disagrees with them is "racist" does not constitute actual racism.

Likewise if this insufferably wretched and corrupt human being is mistakenly given the reigns of power because of the abject idiocy of the American people, "sexism" will not increase but leftwing stooges will blame all criticism of her on "sexism," never mind the facts of who she is and how she has perjured herself and is unfit for office.

The usual suspects like OP here would hardly even have to change their tone or skip a beat. The dishonesty is disgusting, but oh so predictable. It takes a deeply cynical and warped mind to support Hillary Clinton.

They are referring to the stereotypes: women are weak leaders and aggressive women are bitches.

Wouldn't be surprised.

The Right got real racial real fast after Obama was inaugurated, well, more than usual anyway.

But the bigots cry "racebaiting" when their racism is called out.

You don't know my sister. My sister gets money from the father of her child that is supposed to go directly to the child so she can buy something she wants. There is another check he sends to her to put that money into an account for her college. Guess where both checks go? Want to guess? My sister claims she is owed this money even if she already gets child support from the guy. Of course, according to her boyfriend, that money she gets in child support goes directly into buying the mom want she personally wants too. Then there is the case where my sister used my mother for twelve years for baby sitting, never paid her a dime, never showed her any sign she appropriated it, and when it was all done she comes out of thinking it was all something she was owed. There is countless examples of this ****. Like the time she ranted and raved because my parents wouldn't help her buy a house even if they literally already paid for her last one, or back when she was a teenager and my parents refused to buy her a second car after she crashed her other car after drinking and driving. Then there is the more recent one where I get a call out of ****ing no where demanding that I help pay for her wedding. Like you know, I'm somehow supposed to pitch in to my sisters wedding or some ****. A sister that I might add I ****ing hate and never hear from unless it's some bull**** money demand. There is a considerable amount of evidence to suggest she is a bitch. Anyone that wants to tell me it's wrong to call her a bitch will get a cold shoulder from me.

I have one serious question concerning the "equal pay" situation: If women will accept less pay for doing the same (or better?) work than men - why would anyone hire men?

I've heard that before. Which is a really good point.

Most men couldn't find a job if companies paid women less.

Attacks against Hillary vs attacks against Trump. Now lets see
lol...and people think this buffoon should be running our country? The dumbass cannot even run a campaign.

Donald Trump campaign undergoes major overhaul - CNNPolitics.com

I assume it is ok to call Hillary a bitch at least?

Yup, many liberals are just fakes with their little PC nonsense. When you catch them being themselves they're many time even more vulgar than the people they spend time insulting for improper word usage.

The Era of 'The Bitch' Is Coming

A Clinton victory also promises to usher in four-to-eight years of the kind of down-and-dirty public misogyny you might expect from a stag party at Roger Ailes’s house.

You know it’s coming. As hyperpartisanship, grievance politics, and garden-variety rage shift from America’s first black commander-in-chief onto its first female one, so too will the focus of political bigotry. Some of it will be driven by genuine gender grievance or discomfort among some at being led by a woman. But in plenty of other cases, slamming Hillary as a bitch, a c**t (Thanks, Scott Baio!), or a menopausal nut-job (an enduringly popular theme on Twitter) will simply be an easy-peasy shortcut for dismissing her and delegitimizing her presidency.

They are referring to the stereotypes: women are weak leaders and aggressive women are bitches.

How, exactly, do you determine what "they" (as in those that made the statement) were referring to? Jimmy Carter was a weak leader - weak can't just be equated to effeminate simply because some other person says that is what I really must have meant.
