That's what a friend of mine says too. But when I ask him what he actually means by that, he can't seem to articulate a meaningful thought. And if I go so far as to ask what he thinks the result of seeing the whole system torn down, it's pretty clear that he hasn't really thought about it.

There is a serious problem with a country if someone comes over illegally and we decide to give them a free ride with tax paying American's money. I'd much rather deal with our remote issues first. Black people are upset from the lack of jobs and poverty. Well, let deport the illegals and stop bringing them in so we can have more jobs for our born natives. No one should be able to come over here illegally, be forgiven and offered work, housing, etc. To the "PC" crowd that's racist, but I'd much prefer us take care of our own before we take on that situation. We are trillions of dollars in debt ffs.

Your illegal immigrant problem will last as long as rich, greedy people want to profit from cheap labour. If rich, greedy people would stop hiring illegal immigrants they'd stop coming to the US. The illegals being lured to your country by job offers.
