Would US Fundie Christians Pass Trump's Ideological Test?

I tend to doubt it.

Trump’s plan is to introduce a screening process for prospective immigrants to the U.S., testing their ideological commitment to western values like women’s rights, gay rights, and religious pluralism. It’s a brilliant plan. I’m especially inclined to say it’s brilliant because it may have been partly inspired by me.

Watching the Alt Righters turn into SJW's has been one of the smaller, though still satisfying, ironies of this cycle.
 
What's a fundie Christrian? What's an alt righter. I've asked for my Democrat Party code book but can't seem to find one on sale. I suppose they're only provided to socialist whiners. Being an atheist, I'm not really up on all the smarmy religious terms.

Fundie Christians, especially of the Jerry Falwell persuasion, are definitely not truly following Christ. But, should we give them this ideological test, or will Donnie give them a pass? I suspect they will not be given the purity tests. What say you?

What's the "Democrat" Party? Never heard of it.
 
Many Christians do not agree with gay marriage...but dont think Sharia should be the law of the land and that homosexuals that refuse to cease the practice homosexuality should be thrown from buildings. There is a world of difference between not baking a cake for a gay wedding and hanging gay people from constructions cranes and bridges.

We have laws against the latter, but everyone is free to believe the former. If someone thinks hanging gays from a fig tree is what their god wants, we have no constitutional right to ban them or kick them out of the country.

Really? You've never heard of the party of Sen. Clinton, President Obama, Rep. Pelosi, Sen. Ted Kennedy, Sen. Elizabeth Warren. I suppose that's possible for a liberal. There are those who are below low-information voters. It might confuse you because some of the ignorant call that party the Democratic Party but how can a party that proposed a Card Check Bill doing away with secret ballots for elections, supports dead people voting and other election fraud be called democratic. Kind of like communist parties being called "popular" isn't it or the minority party being called the Bolshevik, the majority.

We have every right to not rush to make them citizens. And if they are not citizens of this country the Constitution doesnt apply.

Immigration standards have ALWAYS existed since there was immigration law. And believe it or not...every nation HAS them.

There are those who are below low-information voters. Why would we? The Christians are not terrorizing the globe, Muslims are. IMO I don't think we need to give them a purity test, just make them sign a document renouncing Sharia Law. That alone should weed out radicals.

People in the Democrat Party do think they can change the meaning of word whenever it suits them, doesn't it. But, it's nice there's a party for the developmentally disabled where they can all pretend to be elites.

You remind me of the tourist I met from the U.S. who explained that Democrats don't consider late-term abortions as killing. I thought that was fair and told him I didn't consider strangling a Democrat as killing. Apparently, he can redefine terms but I can't.

Now, head to your Democrat Party and discuss ways to commit crimes with the next election. You wouldn't want democracy, would you?

Muslims are taught to lie, it's in their Koran. Besides, Islam is incompatible with our Constitution and laws, there will be conflict between it and Sharia. So why invite such conflict. It does no one any good.

Now, as for Christianity, it is compatible with our laws.

The premise of the OP has a lot of gall. Nobody who has been born in a country for generations has to justify their presence there or pass a test - whether in America or anyplace else.

Next the OP will ask why a person should refuse any stranger entry into their house or apartment, when they commit the "hypocrisy" of allowing themselves and their loved ones into the same place.

Sorry, but if I'm born in a country, I don't need to pass any test. If you want to get in - yes, you've got to pass a test, and I get to say what the test is. If the test involves pushing a peanut down the road with your nose, then so be it - that's my right to make that the test. If you don't like it, then don't waste your time slumming it with me - feel free to move on to the next country down the street - maybe they'll be more to your liking.

I don't see Muslims letting the rest of us into Mecca - on the contrary, they have a big sign that says INFIDELS KEEP OUT. The hypocrisy in their attitudes is glaring.

Actually its not, but Christians these days are not following the bible, they just claim to be Christians to fit in with everyone else. Jesus him self said the old laws still apply and the old law says a man that lays with a man should be put to death, so any Christian that knows about a gay and doesn't kill him is just not as devout as the Muslims are.

It seems in my reality Christianity and the Constitution have lived side by side in this country for over 200 years. And, as a matter of fact, Christianity was the leading cause of the formation of the USA.

Christianity, like various other religions, has undergone enlightenment and reform. The same can't be said of Islam, as is easily demonstrable through the laws they have in place in Muslim-dominated countries.

Actually, it is. Not only is it completely compatible with our laws, both have existed side by side for longer than any other religion in this country.
