Clinton's lead over Trump narrows to less than three points: Reuters/Ipsos poll

a conservative is one that conserves the best future...... trump stops monopolies like teddy roosevelt so he is the real conservative FOR A NATION

monopolies and less competition stops progress for a nation ........... the current rich hates trump because he will not be bought off...

Trump gets definitions of things wrong. SailaWay gets definitions of things wrong. Trump is the same as SailaWay.

Lets hope not as America wanted to be the leader of the free world but over the last eight years you have done a pretty lousy job of it, and with another four to eight years of Hillary pity help us, China is on the rise, how are you going to handle them?, the same way as you have been doing, and the list goes on, Trump reminds me of Reagan remember him and how he turned out well Trump will be the same, Hillary will not no matter how much you pray

Trump reminds me of Reagan in the same way a toadstool reminds me of Reagan.

As Trump narrows the gap <snicker> the RNC makes plans on how to ditch the buffoon without pissing off the faithful.

I don’t think he understands how presidential campaigns are won.”

“The senior staff gets it,” that RNC member said, “but the true believers outnumber them.”

After four years spent working toward winning back the White House, the RNC’s shift toward an endgame it didn’t envision — essentially deciding when to concede the White House to focus on saving the Senate and saving face — is a sign of resignation setting in.

In other words, Reagan didn't handle it. Isn't that what I already said?

No clown, I don't know what your talking about, without Reagan they wouldn't have released the hostages, and the US would have had to do what the Russians threatened to do if they has taken their embassy

"No clown"? Who was talking about clowns.

What I'm talking about is pretty simply laid out in all of my posts. Reagan didn't "handle" the hostage crisis. The hostages were released on his inauguration day as a poke in the eye to Carter.

Not at all. Reagan had nothing to do with it. The Algiers Accords were already in place. The hostages would have been released with or without Reagan. They were released when they were because of negotiations around frozen Iranian money and in order to embarrass Carter for his support of the Shah. Reagan was irrelevant.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's lead over Republican rival Donald Trump narrowed to less than 3 percentage points, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Friday, down from nearly eight points on Monday.

About 42 percent of likely voters favored Clinton, to Trump's 39 percent, according to the July 31-Aug. 4 online poll of 1,154 likely voters. The poll had a credibility interval of plus or minus 3 percentage points, meaning that the results suggest the race is roughly even.

Since originally posted the lead has grown more and will continue to, seems to happen every time Trump opens his mouth.

You'd think he'd learn by now that THAT is the biggest detriment to his campaign... him opening his mouth. Apparently, though, he's a slow learner.

Its not that he is a slow learner it is that he's too much of a narcissist to change
