lol...you can't make this stuff up.

Donald Trump said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin won't make a military move into Ukraine -- even though Putin already has done just that, seizing the country's Crimean peninsula.

"He's not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want," Trump said in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."

"Well, he's already there, isn't he?" Stephanoploulos responded, in a reference to Crimea, which Putin took from Ukraine in early 2014.

"You cannot underestimate the Intelligence of the USA electorate." An everyday political axiom in the USA. That would make Trump at least twice as intelligent as USA electorate, don't you think? The kool aid and your cup are overflowing. The Crimeans were allowed to vote on their future and chose to go with Russia and nobody died. Independent election observors stated that the election was fine and fair. 96% approval to unite with Russia, the original Crimean homeland. Compared to the Ukraine morass caused by the USA coup d'etat and the subsequent oligarchy, the Crimea is a dream world.

Be that as it may, Putin went into the Ukraine with armed troops. Trump missed the boat on the question.Facts are facts.

Dude.

Have you EVER seen 96% of the electorate vote for ANY major issue in ANY democracy? Don'tcha think that particular result smells like last week's fish?

Of course, there WAS the time that Saddam got 100% of the vote in Iraq....

Anybody that votes to go with Russia, if we sanction them for it what are we to say?

"Mothers don't let your children grow up to be cowboys (vote to go with Russia, hey, I want it on my ballot.")

"He's a nice Candidate, but I wouldn't want him to be President."

Please go with Hillary Clinton or the other woman Candidate from the Green Party.

When they don't get what they want we still get fracking.

I don't know Jill Stein from Eve, but I do know that Hillary knows her geopolitics well enough to explain Ukraine chapter and verse.

Why the R's chose a guy to represent them who is a complete idiot baffles me to no end. But, the signs were there in 2008, when they all lined up behind the ditz from Alaska.

OMG! Trump says Russia isn't going into the Ukraine, and presto! They're not in the Ukraine! Trump says there's no drought in California, and lo and behold, the drought ended! Trump is astounding! He can say absolutely anything, and his supporters will say it's so. What else will Trump say? Maybe we could get him to say that ISIS just laid down their weapons and no longer are interested in fighting. Wouldn't it be great if that were actually true as well?

Meanwhile, let's get going on that wall. Mexico is paying for it after all.

You're confusing last week's fish with Kiev.

And, when asked about David Duke, he said he didn't even know what a "white surpremacist" meant.

Trump doesn't know a significant piece of recent history, and your response to this being point out is to defend Putin's move into Crimea? (Nonetheless, because an impossible 96% supposedly voted in support)? What?

The point of the thread is that Trump is ignorant AND stupid. Nothing to do with the legitimacy or not of the Crimean invasion.

He's got a great brain. Really, the best brain.

Oh, yes. You can count on that. His brain is just outstanding. His mouth is great, too. Lots of words come out. Good words. The best sort of words.

Well, to be fair, he probably has to use that Cat in the Hat style of communication to reach his supporters. Not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier that crowd.

Yeah, the Republican party has definitely gone batsh!t insane that all seemed to start with Palin. But the reality is, the pot was boiling for decades, after the GOP made specific attempts to pander to racist wackos. People like Palin and Trump are the result of the GOP pandering to the crazies for years. Obama being elected is also very much responsible for the rise of Trump. I don't doubt for a second that some see him as a "savior" of some sort from the so called socialist/racist muslim from Kenya.

Russia, by previous agreement, had 25,000 troops in Crimean. No invasion. None. Zero. Nada.

Did Donald bring that up in his defense of saying something stupid? Uh, didn't think so.

Sure. And, now we have the natural anti-Clinton response out there to add to it. Sad thing is, they may actually have had a gripe regarding her, but they cried wolf for so long, no one takes them serious anymore. Nor should they.

Everyone loves his words.
