Media Has a "Cry Wolf" Problem with Trump

What insult? You issued an absurd claim, and I pointed out it's not based in reality.

Your claim is absurd. And have you seen the thread where copies of the to be published news are submitted for approval? And Trump is not unhinged, he is just smarter than the average bear.

Your claim is absurd.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to maintain your fantasy intact.
And have you seen the thread where copies of the to be published news are submitted for approval? And Trump is not unhinged, he is just smarter than the average bear.

I see absolutely zero evidence of that. But, again, you're welcome to your fantasies. I'm not interested, thanks.

Yes, the media still has credibility when it comes to the GOP candidate.

He says unhinged, authoritarian and dishonest bull**** practically 24/7, and it gets reported.

You can try and dance around that simple fact all you'd like, but it won't change reality.

Of course the media's guns are blazing against Trump, Hillary has spend hundreds of millions in anti-Trump advertising, Trump has spent practically nothing, and Trump is still winning or even.

From this one might reasonably conclude that the news media is lacking credibility where Trump is concerned, and so is Hillary.

A lot of people don't care that he says "outrageous" stuff. They appreciate a person who speaks in a straightforward and frank manner rather than in a carefully crafted political way. It has the effect of making him more believable. So, when he says he'll bring jobs back to America people think they know that he at least means it.

Hillary, on the other hand, simply oozes disingenuousness. God only knows what she'd actually do if elected.

Trump called SOME Mexicans rapists. It seemed to him a good portion of Mexican undocumenteds were rapists, etc.

Trump called for a vetting process of Muslim immigrants from places like Syria. Trump thinks it's more important to have vetted Muslim immigrants from places like Syria than have a, for example, stated goal of 5 times the current number of Syrian refugees in the US. How can one place a goal on Syrian refugees? Maybe there will be less refugees when vetted. Maybe there will be more. But there has to be an established and successful vetting process.

Hahaha, I don't know if I would trust Trump vetting anything.

Which is rather irrelevant to what I posted. The media is still credible in reporting his lunatic ravings.

No, that would be an irrational conclusion not based on any real evidence.

And a lot of people are suckers who buy his rants and gleeful pig-ignorance hook, line and sinker.

God only knows what anyone would do once elected, but based on available evidence Trump wouldn't be the reasonable choice.

Trump certainly said all undocumented Mexicans are rapists, presumably even the women, though some of them are also 'good people'. I suppose a good rapist is one who isn't raping one's own wife or daughter.

'Fraid not.
This is what Trump said:
“When do we beat Mexico at the border? They’re laughing at us, at our stupidity. […] When Mexico sends its people they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you; they’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

The media needs to stop telling this lie about Donald Trump. I’m a Sanders supporter — and value honesty

From Salon no less.

The key word here is his use of "They’re" (or is it There're - as in There are)

The two words definitely sound the same, and I don't believe it was ever released by the Trump campaign in writing (or was it? - That I'd like to see)

To whom? You?

No, that would be an irrational conclusion not based on any real evidence.

I disagree. Polls represent real evidence of public opinion.

And a lot of people are suckers who buy his rants and gleeful pig-ignorance hook, line and sinker.

Well, I wouldn't put it quite that way.

God only knows what anyone would do once elected, but based on available evidence Trump wouldn't be the reasonable choice.

I'm not seeing any reasonable choices this year.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to maintain your fantasy intact.

I see absolutely zero evidence of that. But, again, you're welcome to your fantasies. I'm not interested, thanks.

I didn't see any from you either. Only an attitude that will drive many people to vote for Trump. The smugness will backfire on the left.

To whom? You?

To any rational adult.
I disagree. Polls represent real evidence of public opinion.

Which doesn't make it any less irrational of a conclusion.
Well, I wouldn't put it quite that way.

OK.
I'm not seeing any reasonable choices this year.

On that we can agree. This is the worst in memory as far as candidates go, and that's from the primaries onwards.

That's called 'moving the goalposts'.

Bull****, that's EXACTLY what I claimed was the "cry wolf" in post #4.

"He called all Mexicans rapists!" ... No, no he didn't."

No goalpost has been moved, you just have reading comprehension problems.
