Yea --- some expletives in this you tube sensation yet his exasperation is real and he is NOT a racist.

I think he is right on. Bear with me and watch it. What do you think?

I lost interest after 20 seconds. He just sounds like a clueless "moran."

How many people in America anymore have the capacity to respect others who disagree with them about something that they feel is important?

Nowhere nears enough to get the job of advancing civilization done is the sad answer.

We used to be better, we used to move the ball forwards.

Now we go in reverse, without knowing it.

Respect is earned, it isn't just granted. Now he has every right to say whatever he wants to say and I respect that right. That doesn't mean I have to respect what he has to say, nor does that mean I don't equally have the right to point out just how stupid the things he is saying actually is. Having the right to speak doesn't mean you have the right not to be disagreed with.

I am saying that so many people can no longer respect people who dont agree with them, it has nothing to do with the rights of any particular person who they dont agree with, as the particular people they dont agree with are irrelevant, because the intolerant will never respect ANYONE who does not agree with them.

Hopefully I am now clear.

I will agree with you there, we've become so ideologically deadlocked that a lot of people simply cannot imagine that they are not right 100% of the time and anyone who disagrees isn't wrong 100% of the time. This is a huge problem. But still, there are plenty of people out there who think that respect is a gift that needs to be granted to everyone, all the time, no matter what and that's simply not the case either. Stupid people with stupid ideas don't deserve respect. In fact, one of the biggest issues is that people don't care about acting in a respectable manner, they don't care if anyone respects them anymore and because of it, we've come to this social disaster.

yeezus, I am talking about those people who will not respect any individual who has not yet made their bones, whatever that process/test might be. I choose to assume that people deserve my respect as fellow humans in good standing till bad standing has been proven, which seems to make me a freak.

It also makes me the more civilized person.

I think it was genuine frustration he had with people not using logic and then he was also funny in his frustration.

Yet I do agree with him --- if you grab an officers gun you are likely to get shot.
