Wait until Trump is the nominee, and see what he directs against Hillary. And Bill. I would be frightened if I were them. Ask low-energy Jeb or Little Marco how they fared under the Trump attack machine.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "I ask you to judge me by the enemies I have made." Donald Trump is the enemy of both the GOP establishment and the Democratic Party, but for different reasons. It means not only that he is doing something right, but also that the left fears him – not because he will destroy the Republican Party, but because he will destroy the Democrats. Based on policy, the Democrats should embrace him, especially if he is a liberal Democrat, as the Powerline Blog asserts, but instead they fear him because he can and likely will defeat their true liberal candidate, Hillary Clinton.

i think this guy had it right months ago
hit piece after hit piece just rolls off him
and the polls continue to change in his favor
scary isnt it?
:agree
I had a very interesting discussion the other day re: the bolded.
It began over someone saying they couldn't understand why so many Bernie Sanders supporters would vote Trump. IMHO, it's because the one common thread in this entire election is that folks are simply fed up with the Establishment. On *both* sides of the aisle. Good or bad, Trump represents a complete departure from "business as usual," especially in a political context.
I also think that there are quite a few people that *would* prefer to vote Republican more often, but are so turned off by the antiquated social policies they represent that it's a deal breaker for them. Trump, for the most part, really doesn't give a flying fig about those social policies, and people see it. Some, I imagine, are so fed up with the status quo, they're willing to take a gamble.
The "change" may not be particularly *good*. But it is change.
Desperate times and all...
