What is BLM all about? Let's see, taken directly from their site:

Just a moment...

Its about:

How Black poverty and genocide is state violence.

How 2.8 million Black people are locked in cages in this country is state violence.

How Black women bearing the burden of a relentless assault on our children and our families is state violence.

How Black queer and trans folks bear a unique burden from a hetero-patriarchal society that disposes of us like garbage and simultaneously fetishizes us and profits off of us, and that is state violence.

How 500,000 Black people in the US are undocumented immigrants and relegated to the shadows.

How Black girls are used as negotiating chips during times of conflict and war.

How Black folks living with disabilities and different abilities bear the burden of state sponsored Darwinian experiments that attempt to squeeze us into boxes of normality defined by white supremacy, and that is state violence.

#BlackLivesMatter is working for a world where Black lives are no longer systematically and intentionally targeted for demise.

And yet they don't pack up and move.

Are these people running for office? Volunteering to help inner-city youth? Applying for cop jobs? Getting educations? Picketing for better schools? Fostering the importance of education in their children? Are they organizing to unelect their Democraic leadership who allow our inner cities to fester?

Or are they just standing around yelling slogans?

Standing around yelling slogans...

If they were truly interested in change, they would be focusing on the getting young blacks out of the mindset that their only path out of poverty is through crime. They should be telling young blacks that they should be strving to be the best and brightest in every way, instead of apologizing for their failures. BLM is only about victim-hood, they are not interested in solutions, just slogans.

This would be funny if it wasn't getting cops killed.

I don't even know where half of these claims are coming from, black girls are used as negotiating chips during time of war? :lamo Seriously?

This just muddies the waters more. It's almost like they copy-pasted a lot of standard talking points from the far left onto a website. It makes no sense and doesn't highlight problems in their own communities AKA drug use, no fathers/traditional family, gangs etc...

The biggest threat to black girls is the black boys taking advantage of their lack of supervision and understanding of the consequences of sex.

I don't know how to cure the disease in the black community other than to bulldoze it and distribute them throughout the nation so they can learn the basics of middle class by osmosis. But then to work they will have to compete with the illegal aliens from Mexico who'd as soon drop a shovel on their heads as look at them. But with proper role models, they can do it.

They have problems, we have problems, and Jose and Hose B keep whistling along working, making money, sending it home...

Don't forget: For maximum effectiveness always keep the shiny side out!

Worse then that it twists reality, it calls these problems state violence. Ironically enough it's a condemnation of liberal policies yet 90% of them will vote for Hillary, 8 more years of the same.

Well, there you go again, their website essentially outlines the failures of liberalism. And yet leftists continue to push the notion that the state is daddy, that blacks need a gov’t program because they are stupid, their lives are rough and they can’t make it without big gov’t help, etc etc. It’s all by design to keep black people hooked on gov’t and voting for leftists for their livelihood. It’s all very evil if you think about it. Slavery in another form is all it is. I don’t think Dems ever gave up on slaves, or forced compliance for that matter.

Megyn Kelly had a good panel about this last night and I watched some of it. People kept saying we need to have a conversation even though we've been having this conversation for over 50 years, but funny that this was a discussion on Fox News, I don't see any other media outlets attempting this.

How Black queer and trans folks bear a unique burden from a hetero-patriarchal society that disposes of us like garbage and simultaneously fetishizes us and profits off of us, and that is state violence.

First off, where in the **** do people get this idea that the united states is a patriarchal society? The us is a feminist society that provides women more rights than men including parental choice and the right to body integrity. As for some kind of hetero-patriarchal society, I'm not even sure what that means. Is it like a patriarchal society that prefers heterosexuals or something? Isn't that like literally the default of every society ever accused of being a patriarchal society? It would make more sense to point out a patriarchal society that didn't lean that way than the opposite.

Second, what in the **** are they even talking about? Some examples would be grand here. How are they disposed like garbage?

This would be funny if it wasn't getting cops killed.

They should be paying more attention in school.

How Black girls are used as negotiating chips during times of conflict and war.

Again, what in the hell are they even talking about? That is not only powerful language made extremely vague, but appears to be said in that way purposely to cause some of response.

I think there are a lot of conspiracies associated with the group and the more I look into the more I see. I just won't necessarily bring this stuff up to an angry black person. They won't likely listen anyway.

I seriously doubt most of the BLM protestors even bother to look into the core goals of the nutjobs running this organization.

Don't forget while "simultaneously fetishizes us and profits off of us". :lamo

Just another example of gibberish from an entire list of gibberish. The way I'm reading that disaster of a complaint is that this hetero-patriarchal society both treats gay and trans people like filth and makes money off of them due to some kind of obsession with them. I wonder how that works.

In stark contrast to their official web site this is how BLM is being portrayed in the MSM, MSN.com:

What does Black Lives Matter stand for?

The most important directive of Black Lives Matter, Cullors said, is to deal with anti-black racism, to “push for black people’s right to live with dignity and respect” and be included in the American democracy that they helped create.

“This is about the quality of life for black people, for poor people in this country,” said Umi Selah, co-director of Dream Defenders in Miami. Though not officially affiliated, Dream Defenders and similar social justice groups often align themselves with Black Lives Matter.

“The conception that all we’re mad about is police and policing is a strong misconception,” Selah said. In fact, Black Lives Matter released a statement last week condemning the shooting in Dallas as counter to what the movement is trying to accomplish.

Black Lives Matter: What it is, what it stands for

I seriously doubt most of the BLM protestors even bother to look into the core goals of the nutjobs running this organization.

"I seriously doubt most of Trump's supporters even bother to look into the core goals of the nutjob they're supporting."

There - fixed!

I agree. Most of them are in it for the chaos, arson, thievery, and causing injury. Leftists are masters of havoc and do not hesitate to hurt people to achieve their goals.
