True, but things invariably change. Playing to racial division always shores up a portion of the minority vote. The question now is how much - in what numbers?

Interesting case. I wonder if the woman will be charged. Shooting a burglar when they have already fled the house is illegal in most places. Plenty of people have been charged and convicted of manslaughter and the like because of it. This kid was not a threat when she shot him.

I agree she pandering to the black vote, but she's also pandering to the white liberal guilt vote. Neither of which is going anywhere, of course, but she's probably hoping to increase the overall numbers.

Or they are not as heavily policed and are treated differently by cops. There have been plenty of incidents where there is no evidence the person shot by police embraced a thug culture or failed to comply with police orders. Take the death of Castille this past weekend.

I'm not arguing that black people involved with police are innocent and always discriminated against, but you don't have to look far to see racist views and discrimination are definitely factors and that something needs to be done about the relationships of police and minorities. Saying blanket statements like "cops shoot more white than black people" as though the minorities are complaining about nothing is an inaccurate statement and misrepresents the data.

Of course blacks are policed more than whiles, they create far more crime than whites. Why would the police patrol neighborhoods with very little crime?

sorry about the off topic, but real quick... whatever your leaning, remember there is more at stake than the Presidency.... several Supreme court justices may be chosen, so it all depends on how you want the Constitution to be "interpreted".

They will never acknowledge that, nor do they give two hoots in hell about this country. Like Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama, their heroes, these people are not true liberals at all, but intolerant statists who dislike the system of government our Constitution designs and value only their own personal liberties. One way to fight them is to expose them for what they are and discredit them with facts and reasoned arguments. Too often what they say goes unchallenged, and when it is repeated often enough without being refuted, it starts to be accepted as true.

It is unlikely that she will be charged and even more unlikely it will gain national attention. 1-She is covered under Florida's Castle Laws. 2-The shooter was black.

LOL, you believe that WE elect the President, pssst WE do not make that call. Hillary is as close to a shoe as they get because Trump cannot win ever enough swing States, especially Florida and without it he loses. What is important is to keep the Senate under GOP control and then the SC nominations will have to be more moderate to get approved. I understand that there is a lot at stake but am also realistic enough to know that one must prepare for what is coming, just common sense.
