I can't see how two groups could interpret it so differently. So I see one group following the spirit and intent of the Constitution and one group ignoring it.

If by "uneducated" you mean that I took Trump's own words at face value, then I suppose there is something to that. Do you suggest that I dismiss Trump's own repeated policy on banning Muslims as a lie?

The constitution is not sufficiently specific so as to suggest that such an interpretation is reasonable.

Further, even if you are correct in asserting that one group is more correct than another on one specific issue, it is absolutely unreasonable to conclude that one group is always right and the other is always wrong.
