Six Diseases Return To US as Migration Advocates Celebrate ‘World Refugee Day’

Maybe if folks wouldn't keep their kids from getting vaccinations...

nationally its only like 1.8% of kids getting vaccine exemptions and not getting them. There are many variations of some of these diseases.
also most of these are not viruses. Scarlet Fever , Tuberculosis, Whooping Cough, Bubonic Plague are all bacterial There is an immunization vs plague , whooping cough and TB however their efficacy is limited and some are not very effective.
TB vaccine isn't widely given in the USA ( per the CDC ) same with plague of course. immunizations vs most bacterium would be effective for a limited time only. Pertusis ( whooping cough ) is about the only one of those four that is regularly given, however the vaccine was changed in the late 90s and the newer DTaP vaccine isn't as long lasting as the old one. 2012 saw the most pertussis cases since 1955.
Of course Measles and Mumps are viral and those would be given. MMR ( measles mumps and rubella vaccine is pretty standard but its 97% effective which means 3% could still get one of those viruses even with the vaccine )
in 2000 it was declared the USA was measles free.
Even if childhood immunization was 100% the influx of infected people is a problem.

More or less how it is moral and just to keep out groups of people who make it harder to achieve a free libertarian society.
