Someone Is Getting A Big "F" In This Class

At an Ohio gun shop that teaches a class on basic pistol safety, one student was killed when he was shot in the neck. He died at the scene.

Clermont County Sheriff A.J. Rodenberg refused to provide any further information, but it is certain, someone in that class is getting an "F".

Better luck next time. The U.S. needs more responsible gun owners like this.

Why in god's name would you use a loaded gun with real bullets for such a class!?

Half of all teens will be involved in a car crash before graduating from high school.


I bet more new drivers kill someone than new shooters..

There is very little information concerning the details of this situation, but in many states range time is a requirement for a CC class.

Since this was a pre license class, I doubt if any of the students were carrying except on the range.
 
You want someone carrying a gun that has never used one with real bullets before?

You want someone driving down the road that has never driven a real car before?

It's a pistol safety class.

Unless the accident happened on the range, it makes no sense. (the article doesnt really specify)

Until you're actually at the range why would you even have bullets in the gun in the first place

The bullets live in the gun at all times silly..

They come out for transporting very rarely unless you have a permit..

A little more information. From the NY Daily News:

Investigators told WLWT TV that another class member discharged a handgun while practice weapon malfunction drills. The bullet passed through a wall, striking Baker in the next room.
