This is Why Trump is Our Next President

"This is Why Trump is Our Next President"

The retribution of our past sins -- slavery, genocide of the American Indian, suppression of women's rights and Jim Crowe laws -- finally visited upon us?

Trump is our next president because Americans will not tolerate gangs of thugs attacking people who are minding their own business while walking down the street.

The Democrat party represents violence and disorder in 2016. The people aren't going to stand for this. Mexico runs on violence and disorder, we do not want to be Mexico.

This violence is the result of a candidate who thrives on chaos and division. If you think there are no consequences to a candidate running on demagoguery, you're incredibly naive.

I'm well aware that liberals abhor personal responsibility and blame their bad behavior on other people, thank you for reiterating that.

I assign responsibility to the people attacking the Trump supporters.

Yes, the ability to wrap one's head around both statements is certainly dizzying, is it not?

You "assign responsibility to the people attacking the Trump supporters" but it's still somebody else's fault.

Good God the Left is so predictable.

In one statement, you're placing blame on Trump, that he somehow caused a man to sucker punch someone with a blunt object.
In your next comment, you say it's the responsibility of the protestors.

I think you're the one that's dizzy.

Considering that Donald Trump is the presidential candidate of the Republican Party, Owl, it seem to me that the "sad day" belongs to them hands-down.

Well maybe we'll find out, won't we Frank. For damn sure, a Donald Trump would never have been the GOP candidate if those in Congress had done the job they were elected to do instead of blowing us all off once elected. They spend their days mostly fund raising for the next election while they use their good offices to increase their own power, prestige, influence, and personal wealth. Even much of the work they do is designed to extort more money from big business who are dependent on favorable tax and regulation structures.

And when we have a society who thinks it is okay to riot and maliciously damage or destroy property or persons in order to demand their way and/or deny access or speech to those they dislike or disagree with or who offend them. When we have a society in which political correctness becomes a major weapon in the politics of personal destruction to force people to fall into line and be obedient to those demanding power. . .

So a Donald Trump emerges with a message that challenges all the gestapo thuggery and offers us a chance for real reform. Villain or hero? We won't know for awhile yet. But for sure the way it is has become intolerable for many of us and we're ready to gamble.

You "assign responsibility to the people attacking the Trump supporters" but it's still somebody else's fault.

Correct.

I have to admit to taking amusement at your guys' inability to hold two non-contradictory thoughts in your heads at the same time.

Correct.

Correct.

If you call me a name, and I respond by punching you, who goes to jail?

Many today want to use violence and intimidation to instill a threat of, "be silent, or else". That is why so many liberals approve of the violent wing of their party, such as those in San Jose.

Come back and tell us all about it after Hillary Clinton hands Trump his backside in November.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

If I call you a name, I am not blameless because I acted to create a volatile situation.

The only reason Trump will be the next president is if there are now, actually enough crazy Americans to pull the lever for a maniac.

Voting for the man is an act of insanity.

Voting for the man is an act of insanity.

More precisely, it will be if those Americans reside in key states with high electoral college totals. The overall popular vote can make an election appear closer than it is.

Legally, you are blameless in that scenario, and 100% responsibility would be mine.

I mean, its really stuff that was taught in kindergarten; you can't punch Johnny's lights out because Johnny called you a jerk face.

Some adults, like the San Jose mob, behave like large, overgrown children. And then liberal pacifists applaud the violence because they'd never have the guts to do it themselves.

I didn't say anything about legality although, in your chosen example, in my school Johnny would have gone to the principal's office nonetheless for instigating it.

Well, I trust my own research to understand who the nebulous groups are who are creating all the violence they have encouraged, and paid for. The facts are what they are, and require little judgment and instinct to read.

I'm not sure that any of us are in full knowldege of the "facts", as you call them. That leaves our own judgement to fill in the blanks, and mine happens to differ from yours. There are no facts in politics, despite your belief that you know what they are.

Given the level of gullibility, blind partisanship, and fear of being politically incorrect among those who support leftist concepts and people, I am not sure that is sufficient to make Trump president.

You notice that most of our leftist friends do not condemn the violence to people, animals, property and insist it is all Trump's fault. That's what their idols and leaders encourage them to think and say and most have long stopped thinking for themselves. Ask them to put into their own words an argument for what they say they support, and most cannot do that. They spout the assigned talking points and cut and paste somebody else's words or chart or graph or whatever when they are totally unable to explain or defend what they post.

Disclaimer: There are a few intelligent and honorable leftists out there who are the exception. Those condemn the violence and place the blame where it belongs, i.e. on the rioters and those who coach, organize, and egg them on. The only ones giving these people a voice, however, seems to be Fox News.

The people committing the actual mayhem are selected from the lowlife sector and are deliberately organized and pushed to be violent. The organizers were actually advertising for protesters in advance of Trump's rally in Albuquerque.

Indeed it is a sorry day to be a Democrat who is afraid or reluctant to speak out against it lest the wrath be turned on them.

So in the face of that kind of dumbed down and America-hating constituency, I don't know if there are enough thinking voters left to get Trump over the top.

But I'm optimistic.

Ad hominem nonsense.

What if the scenario was different?

What if coal miners decided to beat up Hillary Clinton supporters because Hillary said she wanted to put them out of a job? Hillary Clinton would be culpable in that scenario to you?

If she ran on a platform of coal miners being the nation's enemy? Yeah, I could see that. Not that that's ever happened, but in your imaginary scenario, sure, both would share culpability.

Agreed. And anyone who believes they can force someone not to vote for a candidate by threatening violence, doesn't deserve the right to vote either.

Greetings, ocean515. :2wave:

:agree: I don't know if I'm in some sort of "anti-protestor" group, but I am much too busy to have the time or the interest to go around throwing eggs, rocks and other assorted debris at people just because it's considered "cool" these days to do so! I seriously doubt, judging by the age of most of the protestors, that they even know why they're there, other than being told by those with an agenda to show up and cause a disturbance by any means possible! Do they really think they're going to change how people are going to vote? If it weren't so sad that they apparently don't realize that are being manipulated - but they may just secretly hope they'll be on TV so they can brag to their friends - their time could be better spent in other ways, IMO. Just sayin....
