Democrats Are freaking Out Over a Possible President Trump

Not necessarily, as long as you don't plan on voting for the guy.

As unlikely as it may be, and I do also think that... The relative likelihood, as he is the candidate for one of only two parties, is still pretty shocking.

Is there some suspension of reality here? You act like there's Trump, then there's the good fairy Godmother that he's running against. You know, beside the corruption, crimes, scandal after scandal... and the fact that she has been a failure and only got to where she is because of her husband. Other than that, great candidate!

All good, except that Hillary is worse. Way worse.

Not objectively true at all, in any way, shape, or form.

Hillary ain't great, I'll agree, but the idea of Trump in charge of the most powerful military in the world, is simply too terrifying an idea to fathom

If America didn't affect the world so profoundly, I really couldn't care either way, but because yah do... I kinda give a crap, and I think the country is honestly losing its marbles by even contemplating electing such a man to the highest office.

I believe we are seeing the first vestiges of CDS - Clinton Derangement Syndrome.

I am not a democrat, and I am mildly freaking out about a possible Trump presidency.

Trump is a pathological liar, so of course nobody actually has any idea of what his policies will be should he enter office. However, if he turns out to be a Trojan Horse, and that he was this crazy environmentalist egalitarian socialist this entire time, it will have negated every frustration and setback I have ever experienced throughout my life. I will make a portrait of him and give it to him for free.

I believe we are seeing the first vestiges of CDS - Clinton Derangement Syndrome.

Um...CDS began with Whitewatergate.

Well, you can say that, but you really can't back it up. At least with Hillary, we are all aware of her lying, incompetence, and corruption. So, it's pretty certain that she will suck. Supporting Obama in his power grabs and unconstitutional behavior, I can't remember her ever doing anything to protect our personal liberty as stated in the Constitution.

Does she value people at all? By many accounts, like Secret Service agents, she is a despicable piece of garbage behind the scenes.

You really think that???? Good lord. We can afford inexperience, we cant afford any more corruption. Its the corruption that's been ****ing us over. This why large governments suck so much, plenty of places for the roaches to hide.

If someone is corrupt, you can keep an eye on them and remove them like a Nixon. That is painful and really not, what we need. A neophyte ninkenpoop, however, will run around drawing lines in the sand and continuously mention all the options on the table, till Putin or some other player calls his bluff and sinks us. Worse is that we are in a time of great change and the settings are being placed for the coming decades. If we do this badly, the chance of a major war, will be nearly total. We need an experienced and good player. The latter Clinton may not be. But Trump is neither and much more the drawer of lines in the sky.

I'm not too big on Trump, but the alternative is much worse. And really, no comparison to Obama. Trump at least knows how to run things and get things done, Obama couldn't (and still can't) run a Lemonade stand. No holding office before is not necessarily a bad thing either.

IT is true that Trump has run a largish business in good and hard times from what we can see. From what we have seen, he is not very good at security and foreign policy nor knows much about trade economics. Most interestingly he demonstrates this without inhibition, which does have some charm. As a quality for the Job it do much, however.

Any person who actually has the ability to think should be freaked out at the possibility of a Trump Presidency.

But we should all feel calm, comforted and happy at the possibility of a Clinton presidency?

What Trump has going for him is experience getting things done, and the fact that we already know Hillary is mostly a failure as SOS, really didn't do much in the Senate, and clearly favors government over the people. Basically, Trump can't be as bad as Hillary on his worst day.

This is an interesting short article on Trumpian oversight: bloomberg.com/view/articles/2016-05-23/trump-is-worried-about-the-wrong-china-threat
I am afraid that as bad as Clinton is, we cannot afford Trump's inexperience big mouth policy. It might play fine to the reality-tv-crowd, but as a the real world foundation of economic and military power it is just plain lunatic.

I think that is going to be Hillary's strategy, that Trump is some kind of loose canon and will say something wrong, or just start launching military strikes all over the world.

She really can't point to herself and crow about what she did with Russia, Benghazi, Syria, etc... She has to paint her opponent as being such a terrible, horrible person that you can't vote for him. She gets nowhere trying to convince people to vote for her because she's any good at all.

Like alienating Mexico, the United Kingdom and the entire Muslim world? Perish the thought.

If she is President I will feel comforted by the notion that she doesn't represent chaos -- things will chug along pretty much as they are. That's not especially inspiring, but a thin-skinned candidate who thinks nothing of picking fights with everybody on the world stage is fantastically dangerous. I'll take the android from Planet X78c over him any day.

No doubt that Clinton is sub-optimal to the point that I would never have believed I would ever vote for her. It makes me shudder. But the alternative is just too dangerous.

I think the Democrats are "freaking out" at the prospect of their agenda being rejected and the coalition breaking apart...

Trump is a Symptom, not a root cause.

For Common Working Americans, Hope in the 2016 election cycle will not come from the outcome of the Presidential Contest, but rather from rejecting and removing from office the Obama-Era Radicals and Loonie-Lefties from every other level of elected office!

IMO, you've got that backwards. But, we aren't exactly talking about two stellar candidates. I just think there is a chance Trump could do something good, I can't imagine anything good coming out of a Hillary presidency.

As I am typing this, I hear a clip of her on the radio saying that Americans don't value our children as much as other countries do because of the color or their skin. WTF??? This woman wants to be President?

Why would the Democrats freak out over a possible President Trump? He, like all Republicans will serve the interests of the wealthy and Big Business, and since most Democrats are rich, they will be jumping for joy. Their “concern" is nothing more than an act to placate their base.

Sure, The Donald has been making outlandish promises white people are eating up, claiming he will make the sweeping changes they've dreamed of. But anyone with any memory knows that once elected, politicians quickly forget the promises made during their campaigns, and it’s back to business-as-usual in D.C. Our government is controlled by the fat cats, and has been for decades. With Trump as President, the fat cats have one of their own calling the shots.

With a Republican in the White House and a Congressional majority, the Democrats can sit back, relax and let the GOP take the blame for everything. The 20 million and more Americans who will lose medical coverage, the Democrats can tell them, “Sorry, you will need to ask the GOP about that.” Social Security and Medicare cuts for the elderly, the Democrats will say, “Talk to the Republicans, we have no power to stop them.” The list of opportunities for the Democrats to escape blame is endless with Trump in the White House.

It’s going to be entertaining to watch the dumbfounded Trump fans when he turns his back on them after he is inaugurated in January 2017. The Republicans will again be spending like drunken sailors, just as they did when Dubya was President and they had the Congressional majority.

If you agree with me that's fine. If you do not, I don't really care.

Everyone should worry - that bullying moron will have us in a shooting war within 3 months of taking office by not keeping his big mouth shut.

Years ago, when we were respected, it was other countries that had to watch themselves. Now, our next President better watch what he says, or we'll be in a shooting war.

Yeah, I agree.

Bush really ruined it for everyone. [emoji6]
