CLARENCE THOMAS: 'World gone mad with political correctness'...

Canada may be a different story. I've never spent any time there, so I wouldn't know. I meant to say the United States society.....

In which case I would say race, not racism, plays a major, over balanced role in society. The biggest difference between our two countries is that Americans talk about it incessantly. The topic rarely becomes a top news story, usually its some weird twist of some kind. It seems to me the two sides are constantly baiting the other.

And for your information I have experienced severe racism from a border guard while crossing. It has happened several times, and witnessed by colleagues.

Not everyone who criticizes Obama is a racist...but there are many in the Republican party who's hatred towards Obama is deeply rooted in racism.
Sounds suspiciously like much of the left's criticism of Thomas.

I agree... Such a statement would be laughable... But unfortunately for you, I have never in my life made such a statement, or implied such a thing.

You asked me if I thought racism played a major role in society, and my answer to that was, and is, no. You have once again resorted to dishonesty instead of honest dialog.

Actually it is YOU who is lying and resorting to dishonesty...did you forget that we can actually review your previous posts?

Yes, I am... Unless of course you are talking about the building racism that black people are publically displaying against white people

Oops....feeling a little silly now?

Next time, how about pasting my complete quote. The question was:

"Are you honestly saying that racism doesn't play a major role in society today?"

My answer was: "Yes, I am... Unless of course you are talking about the building racism that black people are publically displaying against white people. I must admit, I find that a bit troubling. "

Now please point out where it was that I said or implied that "the only racism in America is black racism against whites" as you claim?

Seriously? Read your friggin post. Right there in your own words you say that racism doesn't play a major role in society today....unless you are talking about black people that are racist against whites.

Doh!

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas urged college graduates who seek to "preserve liberty" to do so by fulfilling the duties of their daily vocations rather than attempting to achieve sweeping political goals.

"At the risk of understating what is necessary to preserve liberty in our form of government, I think more and more that it depends on good citizens, discharging their daily duties in their daily obligations," Thomas said Saturday during a commencement address at Hillsdale College, a small liberal arts college in Michigan.

It's like a high tech lynching ain't it?

LOL. My sides hurt laughing at silly a$$ leftists.

Well I'm happy that we can divert the attention away from all the pain you must feel from being a victim all the time.
