Wood...is Good!
What does that mean?
Wood...is Good!
That works for me!
Without a national border and respect and enforcement of that border, there is no sovereign nation.
I'm not willing to give up the sovereign nation of the USA.
Agreed, but nationalism is not an effective answer to the issue of globalism; internationalism is.
Does your home have doors? Do you have locks on your doors? Do you allow anyone that wants to access your home free entry?
Oh...but thats different...right? Your home is like...your home and stuff. There are laws to protect your home.
No, he just pointed out that a physical wall is completely pointless when essentially any person on earth can jump on a plane and enter the US on a tourist visa, or in the case of Mexico just drive through border control.
Do you honestly believe that a physical wall fixes all of our problems and will stop terrorists from entering the US? If not, you agree with him.
But people got through. People kept getting through. The point of the wall is to keep people from getting through. The walls were unable to keep people from getting through.
There's also this brand new invention called a tunnel.
Having a border that's respected and enforced impacts internationalism? I didn't think so. My initial impression is that both can co-exist. What are your impressions?
Maybe it doesn't stop ALL but it will stop A LOT of them..
Besides who cares? Mexico is paying for it not me..
No, most of them are not.
That globalism and nationalism should cooperate and form an internationalist world economy, that simultaneously respects national sovereignty but fights against racism, xenophobia, interventionism, and militarism/imperialism.
If you have too much globalism, borders are erased and a tiny elite essentially rules the entire planet.
If you have too much nationalism/regionalism, the world plunges into warfare, chaos, xenophobia, racism, militarism, imperialism, interventionism, authoritarianism, terrorism and genocide.
No, Mexico isn't paying for it. Nobody's paying for it. It's not getting built.
Every single last one of them are criminals.. EVERY
Every single last one of them are criminals.. EVERY
You know whom else were criminals once upon a time?
Jews.
Fair enough. A balance as seems to be always the case. Too bad that so few realize that a balance in so many things are what's best for all concerned, and instead drive things to the extremes as dictated by their ideology.
Just you wait and see..
With the experience and disappointment of previous elections, I offer the advice to avoid too deeply emotionally investing in any candidate or party.
Should it turn out that your candidate or party loses, you avoid the emotional turmoil of those results.
Take solace in the belief that even should your party or candidate lose, the US, and it's constitution will survive it.
It's generally emotionally safer to view all of this with a cynical eye, and as a bunch of ****ups bungling about.
Really? I thought no Jew ever broke a single law anywhere in the history of ever.. Hmm...
Or are you not talking about America?
How do you enforce border security when you KNOW that you have people streaming into your country by the millions, literally?I don't embrace "open borders" but nobody is suggesting "open borders" So, I'll stop running and hiding when you stop making up straw men. I wont hold my breath.
Their are laws to protect our borders too but so much for laws.. Guess we don't need them either..
...They broke the law by being Jewish in Nazi Germany.
Hu.. I don't remember nazi Germany ever being America..
You know whom elsewere criminals once upon a timeare ALL criminals every last one right now?
Christians.
Not in America though..
Trump and his rabid supporters do worry me to a considerable degree (not as much as the Clinton cult, mind you), considering the fact they are championing a worryingly-authoritarian ethno-nationalist who is seizing upon public dissatisfaction and hatred toward minorities and certain political factions (just like Hitler did with Communists and Jews), to elevate himself in the polls. His proposition of hunting down and eliminating terrorists' families is also disconcerting.
Honestly, in my honest opinion, best case scenario he turns out to be an extremist version of Teddy Roosevelt. But considering how activist he wants his government to be (including cataloging all Muslim citizens, using Bush's neo-fascist PATRIOT Act to do so, and using the NSA to spy on people - the libertarian in me abhors everything Donald Trump stands for).
The fact that I still think he would be a better pick than Hillary Clinton should illuminate the implications of her becoming President, and how utterly ****ing antagonistic the US government has become towards its citizenry.
They are practically at war with us.
