Using whatever restroom you want to use is all about freedom and accountability. Why should any sovereign citizen be denied the restroom of his choice? He has a natural right to do whatever he wants to do. Restroom freedom is the ultimate achievement of conservatism.

You should probably read John Locke sometime. Private property is under the control of the owner and that includes the restroom. No one has a natural right to use the restroom at a store.

Oh and btw, sovereign citizen? You're a citizen of a the United states, not a sovereign citizen. lol.

Anyway, at the end of the day a company still has to answer to their consumers and their stockholders.

Trans folks won't accept the solution of adding a bathroom for them. They want to be seen as the gender they claim to part of and that is the end of the story.

I haven't had to buy drinks for anyone yet.

:agree: that they should have kept their mouth shut, but it's too late now. I'm thankful I do not own Target stock, but I do like the store in this area. Target is sure having a string of bad luck, though - they were hacked big time a few years ago and it cost them millions of dollars to compensate credit card users whose numbers and personal data were stolen. Thankfully I was not one of them, since I don't have a Target card. Now this? It almost makes me feel sorry for them, and their employees whose jobs may be in jeopardy through no fault of their own, all because of a bathroom controversy? :shock:

And they lost more than a few million with their overly-ambitious move into Canada. They did no research, no marketing surveys, simply bought out K-Mart and moved in. However they never really got around to stocking the stores, and when they did the stock was higher priced than the Target a few miles down the highway, the other side of an arbitrary line. One columnist called it the "Edsel" of retailing.

It is surprising how many very large companies are run very badly./
