In 2014, Washington-based website NK News alleged that top executives at AP had in 2011 “agreed to distribute state-produced North Korean propaganda through the AP name” in order to gain access to the highly profitable market of distributing picture material out of the totalitarian state. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea comes second from bottom in the current World Press Freedom Index.

A leaked draft agreement showed that AP was apparently willing to let the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) handpick one text and one photo journalist from its agitation and propaganda unit to work in its bureau. AP told the Guardian that “it would be presumptuous to assume ‘the draft’ has any significance”, but declined to disclose further information on the final agreement.

Am I excusing all of it? Nope. But we weren't there. And I don't think ANYONE, including most of the people the Nazis ended up killing, thought the Nazis were going to be as bat sh1t crazy as they turned out to be. Most people, Jews included, thought Hitler was going to ease up after he got into power, but instead it actually got worse. But few expected it to get worse.

Again, I'm not excusing what happened then, or now. There's no doubt the media is NOT always objective. But I also understand why sometimes they bend over for their sources. In sports beat writers often go easy on the owners and players knowing if they don't, they won't get anymore stories.

You want access to Trump? Constantly blasting him is not the way to do it. I know many times reporters and journalists try to act Holier Than Thou. But they kiss ass, and cover-up and lie just as much as the people they are covering and are supposedly 'outing'.
