I watch this guys videos every now and then, and he gets some crazy reactions sometimes. He does pranks as well as what he calls "social experiments."
Here's his YouTube main page. His "social experiments" are not scientific at all, but they are indicative of the reality around us. This time he held up a sign, either a Trump sign or a Bernie sign, and talked to people as they passed by about supporting either Trump or Bernie - guess which one got him assaulted, numerous times?
(Repeat of my previous statement - I am not a Trump supporter)
Anyway, it got me thinking...
Why is it that Trump supporters are portrayed by the left and the media as violent, hateful, evil people, although there are a very few (less than a dozen) instances of Trump supporters being physically aggressive, yet there are numerous examples (hundreds if you watch the news videos) of Anti-Trump (Hillary or Bernie supporters) being extremely violent to Trump supporters and the police? Trump supporters do not go to Bernie or Hillary rallies and attack people or disrupt the event like Hillary and Bernie supporters do at Trump events - why is that? Why does it appear that the reality of the situation seems to be diametrically opposed to the way each group is portrayed in the media and in the minds of the public?
This is not a thread about Trump, or Hillary, or Bernie. It is a thread about why their supporters are thought of by the public or portrayed in the media completely opposite (for the most part - there are no absolutes, except that there are no absolutes) from the way they actually act and interact with others of opposite view points - or at least it sure appears that way to me. The video just gives a visual portrayal of what seems to be actually happening yet not recognized or if it is just not spoken about.
