The Wall -- Congress has already passed and the President has signed into law a bill allocating funds to build a wall at the US-Mexico border. It just hasn't been done yet. Or, rather, it hasn't been finished. Some of it is already built.
Religious Test for Immigration -- We've been doing that for years. Members of certain religions are given priority based on their persecution which means that their claims of persecution have to be checked by immigration officials.
Deporting Millions of Illegals -- We've done that off and on through the years. Eisenhower deported 6 million. Reagan deported millions. Bush deported 8.3 million. Obama has deported over a half million a year, which includes 450 thousand removals a year, when people are removed from US territory and sent back. Obama has been touted as the "deporter in chief", but he hasn't deported as many as his predecessors.
Tariffs - Oh yeah, that's been done, too. But it has never worked out.
Getting Good Deals - Trump famously slams DC officials for being unable to make good deals for the US. But that depends on what you mean by a good deal. Most of the deals we cut are not designed to gain financial advantages but to get other countries to do as we'd like. For example, we cut deals with the Russian space agency to provide manned rockets. That was to keep their rocket scientists from going off and building rockets for bad actors like North Korea. Nixon cut trade deals with China in order to keep it from being a big threat to our interests in the Pacific Rim.
Bringing Jobs Back -- The fact that Toyota, Honda, and God knows who else has factories here in the US ought to tell you something: The US government has been hard at work requiring foreign companies that sell stuff here to make a significant part of it here. The difference in this approach and Trump's approach is that the former doesn't cost the consumer more but the latter will; a lot more.
