Funny SNL skit of a Hillary commercial as she takes more and more of Bernie's positions.

That sounds unconfrontational and is a game-theoretically sound positioning strategy. I do not see that that reduces her position as the only electable candidate among this year's batch. She is just as shady and experienced as she was before.

My, but we have certainly reduced our expectations for presidential candidates in this cycle! For Hillary, my question is: How in the freaking Hell can we believe anything she says? I mean, we can trust her to be a dog of the far left, but what does that even mean any more? Is she actually going to be for or against free trade? Is she going to bring big corporations to heel, or is she going to be their lap dog? Who can say?

I don't know that I have reduced my expectations. But I have looked at the field of possibilities and know, what I see.

Like so many politicians, she is a political and rhetorical Shape Shifter, able to appear as anything. Her favorite shape, though, is that of an authoritarian neocon war monger.
