Former Democratic presidential candidate Jim Webb won’t be voting for Hillary Clinton, but he hasn’t ruled out casting his ballot for Donald Trump.

Webb, who briefly flirted with an independent bid before deciding against it, said on Friday morning that the Democratic front-runner wasn't inspirational.

I can honestly say, no-one cares about what Jim Webb says. He's essentially politically irrelevant.
 
I agree, I doubt Jim Webb's comments will mean all too much to either Trump or Hillary.
 
If Bernie cannot get the nomination I will not vote for Hillary. I have argued on another thread that electing Hillary will only badge the Democrats to blame for the disaster she will be.

I will likely vote for Donald if he is the nominee for the Republicans as I believe that will destroy the Republican Party as it is now and maybe make it a party I will like again.

Both parties establishment is flatulence. Short of one of the insurgent candidates I will write in Bernie.
 
Too bad he isn't still in the race. He's an honorable man. I'd vote for him. His vote for Trump will offset my vote for nobody.

Well, that's interesting. He's right about Hillary not being inspirational. Democrats love to be inspired and to be passionate about candidates. It doesn't always work out that way, though.

The Republicans don't seem to appreciate the passion that Trump inspires in voters. They just want their hand picked (boring) guy as the nominee.

I think if Webb had become a winning nominee candidate, the Dem. Party would have stood behind him, even though Webb is not in sync with the regular Dem. Party platform positions.

I like Webb. Too bad there's not a party that represents his views.

That could be said about Bernie, he has been irrelevant for years, did nothing his whole time on the government paycheck,,,,wait he was on welfare until the age of 40, thats an accomplishment yes? hmmm,,, but says he will fix all now, Don’t be so gullible Mcfly.

Why did chicken**** trump back out over the CPAC rules?
trump is now etch-a-sketch on steroids, with his latest flip-flops being with foreign policy and immigration .

Jeb was as boring as anyone...always has been. I'm glad he's gone. Jim Webb is a savvy guy and if he backs Trump, he has good reasons.
