LESS THAN 24 hours after the attack Hillary Emailed Chelsea and told her that a Al Qaeda type group was responsible.

The only thing that was " modified " was the truth.

The leader of the militant group said they attacked the compound in protest of the video. The CIA's original assessment said the attack was in protest of the video. The CIA wrote the talking points that the attack was in protest of the video and David Patraeus approved them. I don't think anyone was lying...except perhaps the people on the intelligence committee who have already admitted this entire investigation is little more than political smear campaign.

That would be true.

One hour and eighteen minutes after the attack on the diplomatic mission started and twelve minutes after the CIA rescue team arrived at the mission, the President was in a meeting at the White House with the Defense Secretary and the Chairman of the Joint Chief's of Staff presenting options for a military rescue. It was decided to deploy two Marine anti-terror teams based in Spain and known as Fleet Anti-Terror Teams (FAST), one to Benghazi and one to Tripoli. The teams arrived three hours after the Americans had been evacuated from Benghazi.

Two Special Forces units were ordered to Libya. One arrived ten hours after the Americans in the CIA Annex had been rescued. One never arrived. It was over a thousand miles from it's base in Sicily on a training exercise in Croatia when it got the orders. The unit did not make it back to Sicily until nine hours after the Americans had been rescued.

A six man team, including two Department of Defense personnel, was deployed to Benghazi from Tripoli. It departed Tripoli at midnight and arrived at the CIA Annex at 5:00 AM. Fifteen minutes later, one member of the team was killed on the roof of the Annex during a mortar attack.

It is clear that the Administration did not abandon the people in Benghazi.

It was actually the Libyan Shield, the February 13th Martyrs Brigade and the Libyan Air Force that did the hard work involved in the rescue of the Americans in the CIA Annex. The Libyan Shied provided fifty heavily armed vehicles (Pick Up Trucks mounted with machine guns) that escorted the Americans to the Benghazi Airport. The Libya Air Force provided the C-130 that transported the Americans to Tripoli.

Only one of the three contractors promoting the movie 13 Hours actually claims that he actually heard a stand down order. The other two are just repeating hearsay.

Seven CIA personnel present at the CIA Annex in the area where the rescue mission was being prepared, testified that was no stand down order. The House Committee also viewed time stamped recordings made by the CCTV system in the Annex and found that the stand down claim was not supported by credible evidence.

If they were left to die, why did only three of the twenty eight Americans, in the diplomatic mission and the CIA Annex at the time of the attack on the mission, lose their lives?

The CIA rescue team was not stood down.

The State Department/DOD team from Tripoli ordered to Benghazi by Secretary Clinton was not stood down.

The two Marine FAST platoons ordered to Libya by the President were not stood down.

One of the two Special Forces ordered to Libya by the President was not stood down.

One of the Special Forces units ordered to Libya by the President was stood down, because nine hours after the Americans had been rescued, the unit was still at it's base in Sicily preparing to deploy.

Do you know that the Martyrs Brigade was fighting against the attackers at the diplomatic mission for 45 to 55 minutes before the six man CIA team arrived at the mission.

About 3.2 km away from the compound, at the February 17th Brigade’s headquarters, militia members heard the battle raging. “We got in our vehicles in less than five minutes,” says Wisam, a militia fighter. “There were about 18 of us in five pickup trucks.” Within minutes they arrived on the road leading to the mission. There they found the attackers organized in large groups. “There were too many people and we couldn’t resist them,” Wisam said. When the militia told the besiegers that they were trying to reach the mission to verify that their comrades were safe, an attacker fired off two warning shots at their feet. “We were a clear target so we turned around and headed down the street.” Once out of range of the attackers’ small arms fire, the militia set up a position and bombarded the mob with longer-range weapons. “We started shooting back with [Russian anti-aircraft] Dushkas and RPGs. It was a 90 minute firefight.” The militia contingent was reinforced with other February 17th fighters who set up a perimeter along the streets surrounding the U.S. compound.
