correct

while it is a "commonly" used slang term there is no such thing. Racism is racism period and all races are capable of racism this fact will never change.

it doesnt even make sense really reverse racism would be loving everybody based on race. its like saying reverse hate its a weird and silly catch phrase that shouldnt be used.

It's a thread about racism.....Mugabe is one of the most racist individuals on the planet.......the OP is worried about people being told they can't drink out of a water fountain.........I'm more concerned about folks being beaten, raped and murdered because of the color of their skin.......that's some real racism there.

Racism as a social construct is not likely to be the same in an area where the dominant races are different. In Zimbabwe, you could say that a white guy practicing it is reverse racism (And I bet all the blacks bring up slavery in the US as a justification).

Sure it is, if a sufficient number of people in power are willing to let it happen. The white farmers who were killed and/or had their lands confiscated were every bit discriminated against as any other person who has ever experienced similar circumstances.

we could fill a library with all the cases of black atrocities committed against white victims mainly because the victims were white. Reporting such things is not in the political interest of most of the MSM which is why you don't hear about it often. The disgusting murder of James Byrd was headline material for months (until then Governor Bush signed death warrants for two of the three-the third getting life since he ratted out the other two) and we saw pro Kerry ads by black groups saying a VOTE FOR BUSH is A VOTE FOR ANOTHER JAMES BYRD BEING LYNCHED

that is not accurate. You can be a white guy in an area that is 90% white but if four black guys beat the crap out of you because you are white, you are as surely a victim of racism as someone who suffers the same attack in an area that is 90% black

Isn't it funny how White on black crime becomes a national story......with President's mentioning them in State if the Union addresses.........but black on White crime are only local news. Here in Atlanta the newspaper ran lead front page stories on the Duke Lacrosse 'rape' story before it was identified as a hoax........meanwhile the Knoxville massacre had little if any mention. Knoxville is closer to Atlanta than Durham......and a double gruesome rape/murder of two innocent kids would seem to trump the alleged rape of a stripper as a news story

Exactly. A racist act doesn't require that the one committing said act is of the majority race. Racism is harmful actions done, based on race alone.

And it would be total lunacy to suggest that in Zimbabwe today a white person could somehow set up a social construct based on oppressing blacks. Not since the British army left.

No it's not. Racism is a social construct in which a dominant race (usually a majority, but not always) asserts power over another race.
