Harry Reid is now officially untreatable by meds

That is the only thing I can think of, offhand, for this particular bit of insanity.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor Monday to issue partial blame to Republican “obstructionism” for the Russian annexation of Crimea last weak, saying GOP senators blocking legislation to impose sanctions on Russia sent a “very weak message” and may have influenced Russia’s decision.

Reid took a swipe at Republicans not showing “respect for the president… when he’s overseas,” and told his GOP colleagues they could think about “how their obstruction affects our great country’s national security.”...

You know, Republicans have their own problems with their leadership. Boehner seems to go through problematic periods, and listens way too much to the Big Business wing of the RepubloCrat party. Mitch McConnel has all the personality and verve of a wet waffle, minus the waffle. But stand them next to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, and they are a mixture of James Madison and Cincinnattus.

Democrats, do you not get embarrassed at all by the clown troop at your head? One of the good things at least about a hostile media is that it keeps the senior ranks of the GOP cleared of idiots who can't control the things coming out of their mouths.
Worth noting, Democrats: President Trump will have a Pen and a Phone. #Precedent.

Too many act in the direct opposite way - they embrace the clown brigade and defend the clown brigade.
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I was going to mentally wish Reid well, since I was expecting an illness diagnosis or something. At least it's just pointless political squabbling now.

look at the hyper-partisanship of all the congressional party leaders
they are doing nothing to advance the nation's interests
they seem an obstruction to getting anything done

in my 61 years i have never observed a moment more ripe for a third party candidate to emerge on the national scene
we are negotiating about dividing a pizza and in the meantime israel is eating it

Yeah, that's pretty moronic. I have zero use for Harry Reid.

Right-wingers have been bitching for weeks that Obama "appearing weak" contributed to Russia's actions. Now suggesting Congress' inability to do anything like adults might also appear weak is just nuts, I guess?

Too bad the dems/repubs have made it that much impossible for a third party to gain a foothold. I'd gladly vote Libertarian if there were ever a serious candidate.
Liberals: Demanding the freedom to write laws to take freedoms away from people they don't agree with.
