Mandela terrorist??

If if enough Indians immigrated to Kent and voted to slice if off and make it part of India, would you support them as well?

Ha ha..how ironic....and no I wouldn't..

But...Northern Ireland isn't "Under British Rule". The people of Northern Ireland are British and have an equal say in the running of UK to the people of England, Scotland and Wales.

All Ireland was annexed by Norman kings in medieval times...

The Irish Free State was created in 1921 for the mostly catholic south. The mostly protestant north stayed inside UK....

The Irish Free State became the Republic of Ireland in 1949...

Mandella is a hero in the purest form. SA was high-jacket by Europeans who set up Apartheid systems to marginalize the true owners of the country. Very simply Mandella reverse that situation...and in my view....mandella have not done enough to correct the situation. Because many who profited and benefitted from the Apartheid movement are still there with all the wealth they stole.

It would be no different if the Native Indians in America rose up and took back country that really belong to them.

Obama cannot have any sort of legacy that could come close or rival Mandella legacy.

I am curious, are you consciously chauvinist or just ideologically inconsistent? Do you actually consider British people to be actually be superior and deserving of special privileges over everyone else? Furthermore, do you think that other ethnic groups can ever become truly British? If a guy with an Indian family is born and raised in Dorset are you proud to call him a fellow countrymen while opposing a sleazy German immigrant trying to take his job?

I am not British..I am English..there is a difference..

And I don't think that a Indian guy can be English..he may have a piece of paper stating he is British...

Ben Kingsley, who was born in England, has lived there for 70 years and awarded a knighthood by the queen isn't actually English? Nor the MP for Leicester East, Keith Vaz. Freddie Mercury was even listed number 58 in the BBC's top 100 Greatest Britons poll. You really refuse to acknowledge your fellow citizens as a member of your society simply because of their ethnic backround?

There is a difference..an Indian guy who was born here is British..I am not British, I am English...

And a tsunami of immigrant workers taking jobs here whilst we have such high unemployment ourselves, backed by the government, has nothing to do with racism!

What about England's ethnic background??

well, sure.. he was a terrorist.... a terrorist leader, to be more accurate
one whom would enact violence, including sabotage and bombings, in order to push a political goal/agenda is certainly a terrorist.

of course, he didn't see it as terrorism...he saw it as being a revolutionary fighting the good fight. ( he did, however, support moving to "actual" terrorism if the bombing and sabotage routine didn't pay off)

he already has widespread respect for his actions ( i have plenty for certain traits he has))... but i think it would be even more widespread if he didn't resort to violence...he's no Ghandi, that's for sure.

I like how he matured over the years... I like how he renounces racism... I have lots of respect for anyone whom denounces racism coming from any side ( there's altogether too many whom denounce racism of one side and excuse and even support racism from another side)

all said, I like the dude, but I don't easily fall prey to cult of personality stuff.. he's no saint, but he isn't a demon either.
I have no love for his communist roots or the folks who inspired him ( Che, Castro
