The 10 Poorest States Are "red" States

I am from MA and saw my standard of living increase when I moved to Montana. Currently, I live in New Mexico. While I am not the biggest fan of NM, I really don't want to move back to MA, even if that is where my family is from.

While MA has a great history, it is an overpriced state to live in. It is not worth it to pay for the weather, the traffic, and their insular and skeptical society.

Not for their water, just because I'm more of a city person than a living on a lake kind of person. I'll just buy a damn Brita filter lol, or drink bottled water.

Still I'd rather live in Boston than SC any day of the week.

Really? The population consist of easily 60-70% douchebags in MA. The people are so much more friendly and hospitable in SC.

Actually, my experience is both people are assholes.

Not from my experience, because a lot of the population is black, they treated me unfairly because I'm a "white boy".

I see Texas the reddest state of them all isn't on the list.

actually by the measurement he's using, Utah is the reddest state - though they, too, are not on the list.
