I wasn't neccesarily responding to you Dixon. Others said that America is in Iraq to help the Iraqi people. I just think this is a lie. They should be honest with themselves about the fact that they want to stay in Iraq for the oil.

The claim was that "Others said that America is in Iraq to help the Iraqi people". If that is only one of "many" justifications, the claim isnt accurate. Sure we are there to help the Iraqi people build a new government and sure doing so would help the Iraqi people but thats not the reason that is ever stated as our reason for being in Iraq in the first place.
