The truth of the matter is that there are significant numbers of Muslims who are following Koranic instructions to conquer the entire globe for Allah. Some are using violence and are trying to achieve short term gains. Others are using non-violent and/or legal means and may be patient in expecting these results to occur.
The questions are when should we begin to get serious about this threat?
- How do we define the problem?
- Are non-violent Muslims who only commit non-violent & LEGAL acts of Jihad to be allowed to continue their actions?
- Do we believe our laws are sufficient to prevent the process of pockets of Muslims forming their own municipalities and electing representatives who are responsive to their needs and desires and eventually passing laws which result in parallel societies where Shariah law is observed and Muslim police officers patrol their neighborhoods?
- What will we do to preserve freedom of speech when Islamic groups can take anyone in the media to court on virtually ANY charge and make innocent citizens have to incur the hassle and expense of defending themselves in court? This can have a chilling effect and one day Michael Savage won't be able to speak his mind about Muslim issues. And no broadcast organization will incur the cost of any of their talk show hosts and no publisher will print any criticisms of Muslims for fear of being dragged into court.
- How are we going to deal with misleadingly flattering and outright inaccurate Islamic grade, secondary and college level school curricula in American schools which is sponsored by Saudi Arabian government "hostage money"?
- In the interest of political correctness and a misguided sense that we are dealing with the equivalent of poor blacks or Hispanics or some other humble, unobtrusive, and gratefully submissive group who needs our help and deserves a hand up, are we going to allow Islam to become equal to Christianity by fiat rather than by the actual numbers of Muslims there are here?
- In that same mindset are we going to open the immigration doors to millions of Muslims from the war stricken regions of the world out of a misguided sense of guilt and noblesse oblige when one of the know strategies to attain the goal of a totally Islamic America is by making more babies than non-Muslims and convincing the non-Muslim students of America that there is nothing to fear from Muslims and islam?
But we know that in any war or militancy it only takes 10 - 15% of the population to successfully win the contest. And so while 85% of all Muslims are perfectly lovely as far as we can know (non-violent Jihad is usually undetectable) it's that pesky 15% who will cause the problems.
What should we do about this and more, not to chastise or harass Muslims but to keep our country at least as free as it is today and prevent our children and grandchildren from having to make much tougher decisions.
Are we going to be admired as our founding fathers are for creating a legacy which well serves us today?
Or will they sneer at us for not being able to see clearly enough or have the courage or wisdom to act in our own best interest, as well as THEIR best interests today?
NO ONE is talking about what is most important.
Michael Savage may be extreme but he is getting our attention and THAT is why he does what he does, to provoke thought and discussion.
To dwell on whether he is an *** or not is to avoid the issue and allow our freedoms to be eaten away, ever so gently and silently and effortlessly and painlessly.
And why?
Because we haven't the brains, heart or courage to do anything.
MICHAEL SAVAGE IS AT LEAST DOING SOMETHING!
Enough with the depreciating innuendo. Either discuss the topic with civility or bow out gracefully.
