It is called DEBATE for a reason, especially when what two different people worry about conflict like in the issue of flag burning.

CC is right in the interpretation of what I mean.

Not everybody will bend over to your kind of behavior, and if assaulted, you would not only get in trouble for assaulting of/when, but there is always that chance that the person knows self-defense and WILL use the physical force to the extent permissible.

Me personally, I don't go lookin for fights mind you, but I am very passionate about one's responsible use of/knowledge of selfe defense where it is practical, and to the extent legally permssible.

Not to distract the topic path any longer, but it is sad that you would act so violently towards people who do what is not only legally permissible, but a piece of one of our key freedoms. I think my sig is pretty applicable to my thoughts on that.

BTW: I respect you for not going out looking for fights. Thats the first thing I teach. The second thing I teach is to be prepared if they encounter trouble.

Thank you. I will tell you still being young it is REALLY tough to resist the urge to "right" precieved wrongs through fist, but I will continue to astain from non-defensive force outside of controlled kickboxing lessons, possibly if I get good enough inb tournaments.

I gotta stop diverting the topic.

Presumably the third thing you teach is that beating someone up for burning a flag doesn't constitute "looking for a fight."
