What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

Boston Market tv dinner. it was the beefsteak and mashed potatoes one. cooked carrots on the side. not bad.

Ham from a ham steak, Port Salut cheese on Ritz crackers. Napoleon pastry for dessert.

We had all you can eat roasted sweet potatoes (lemon pepper, salt, olive oil) with spicy mayo.

beef pot pie (the 80s small frozen kind)
bread stick
Hawaiian roll with butter.

We had a deep fried turkey delivered, so we'll be having a few days of turkey meals. Today mine was white meat breast and homemade mashed gold potatoes.

Was the “Stella” used internally or externally?

🍺
You can do anything you like with the old Belgian Champagne mate...I prefer to drink it though...it’s not the best beer just cheap lol...

Got some supplies in for crimbo...pic comes out on side with iPad lol...🤣

The Czech Budweiser is in a different league to the American stuff...

Left over deep fired turkey sandwiches on whole wheat Kaiser rolls with mayo, onion. Dill pickle spears on the side.

No sausage, less butter, but they are so delicious
don't worry, with a bit of pre planning, this isn't as difficult as it seems

also from the episode, and since we love roasted veg
great meal and lots of leftovers for tomorrow

Homemade chicken salad, (mine) on an equally homemade lightly toasted Costco Ciabatta roll. No way I could ever make the latter to be that good so props to Costco.

Finally got my chicken soap loaded into serving size containers for two and put into the deep freeze. :)

New news: Very happy to say that our home grown olives from our grove are now ready for the final step; from brining to packing in garlic infused olive oil.

Happy Holidays to all.

chili mac
mixed veggies.

We had a veg version of shepherd's pie. Jackfruit and mushrooms as the meat substitute.

Made turkey salad from our deep fried turkey leftovers, had sandwiches on Dave's GoodSeed bread, dill pickle spears on the side.

Cheeseburgers on the barbie with smoked homemade chips and 2 pints of Murphy's Irish Stout.

Ah, if it's a pint of the black stuff, then it has to be Guinness, but I did like a Smithwick's if I was staying Irish but wanted something a wee bit lighter...

Beamish is my first choice but you can’t get it in the states. Murphy’s is my second choice and then Guinness.

had my first McRib in three years. it was decent.

Norwegian salmon fillet with Old Bay seasoning oven grilled, homemade mashed potatoes on the side. Dessert will be fresh raspberries with heavy cream.
