I realized this on my own about 30 years ago, and haven't had a soda since.

Drink an ice-cold bottle of carbonated liquid candy.

How much of this poison have you consumed over the last 30 years?

I don't think any beverage company is going to tell people stuff to dissuade them from buying their product.

Not that much, but I used to be a Fresca FANATIC years ago.

Then, one day, everything just completely changed and it tasted like chemicals.

Haven't touched a drop of it (or any soda) for likely over 20 years.

When I was an elementary school kid, I'd daydream about the day when I was rich and how I'd have a water fountain like the one outside in the hall, only it would pump Coke.

I've given up a lot over the years, including switching to unsweetened carbonated water over 20 years ago. But Coke remains the real thing, and I'll never give it up entirely.

In the past 20 years I'll say I have consumed probably no more than 4-5 soft drinks per year.

Haven't touched the **** for a couple decades.

Only carbonated beverages I'll drink are seltzer water or beer. Or the occasional champagne. At least the calories are doing some work with the latter two.....
