Ideally for me ...
Fresh organic vegetables and fruit (I live close to farmers markets and WF so this is easy for me to have access)
Grains - whole wheat organic and sprouted or brown rice organic or various whole grain organic cereals - exception is pastas I prepare pasta that is made with semolina
Nuts --- raw cashews - walnuts - almonds
beans and legumes
Meat once a week --- authentic free anne and organic --- I know the supplier in my city
Dairy - organic milk - eggs and cheeses - yogurts - ice cream
I try to avoid processed food - corporate food for profit that is chemically laced and uber processed - fried food - fast food
When I am in a restaurant or cafe I make the best choices on the menu that I will enjoy and might veer from my base plan above. Once or twice a year I end up with my only choice being fast food and I just try my best to make a good choice that does not disgust me.
Alcohol --- once a week a glass of wine with food and once a week I have a vodka martini when meeting up with a friend.
This is how I feel best --- I personally do not think diets that cut out a complete food group work well for most people and cause binges or re imbalanced.
