the breakfast thread

I've done the cold pizza breakfast many times. Today, it'll probably just be cereal. I really like plain cornflakes, not frosted or sugared or anything. I can eat those any time of the day.

same here, but I like it with coconut milk and blueberries

I usually do the juicer thing at 4:00 am on workout days. An 8 ounce bag of spinach, 5 or 6 carrots, and an orange. I used to do protein shakes but they got kind of old.

my go-to breakfast is generally morning star fake sausage on toast with a tomato. other times, i'll do a half turkey sandwich on toast, or sometimes a granola bar.

my favorite is biscuits and gravy or hot dog gravy on toast. that's basically a milk based flour gravy with chopped up pan fried hot dogs. sot of like cream chipped beef.

that's great, getting up super early and juicing.

Greetings, Helix. :2wave:

My son will eat biscuits and gravy, and nothing else, at any meal he can, including dinner!

smart kid.

Ahh, Sunday breakfast is always my favorite meal of the week.

I generally start with a pot of coffee, a 5th of Jack Daniels and half a pack of Marlboros....
Follow that with cold sliders & warm beer - and then we're talkin'!

Today was yogurt and watermelon. Boring but typical weekday breakfast. Yesterdays breakfast was much better, beans and tripa tacos, to help recover from Saturday night.

someone posted this last night (on another forum) after i had eaten
of course it had to be breakfast this morning

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomg, I am dying...I am starving, I want that sandwich right now
that's why it was 'what's for breakfast' this morning. could not wait til lunch
and it is as good as advertised

used 3 slices of american cheese, 2 slices swiss cheese, and shredded sharp cheddar for the outside crust

my secret ingredient is just a dab of smeared (common) mustard on the cheese before toasting

2 slices 17 grain toast w/ extra seeds
yogurt margarine

Steamed broccoli and shredded Brussels sprouts with either steamed eggs or squid.

Oil and some kind of vinegar.

A nice bowl of Captain Crunch.

My stomach is hurting this morning. We went out last night and for some reason I though ordering a cheese frenchee was a good idea. Never again.

Lol, Cap'n Crunch, no more enjoyable way to shred the inside of your mouth.

I have to let it sit and soak for a minute or two before eating.

I have finished my bowl and poured another while yours is soaking.

My mouth heals quickly. :chew:

Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain cereal in almond milk with fresh blueberries added.

i always tell my GF that i need bread that has a lot of seeds and ****. i went out to buy more today, because i was out of seeds and **** bread. couldn't find 17 grain, but i found 15 grain, and it definitely has seeds and ****. i wonder how many grains that specialty bread will eventually have, and if that even matters. all i know is that seeds and **** bread is miles above the bleached out stuff we called bread in the 1980s when i was a kid. you could barely even spread butter on that crap without tearing it.

what are you having for breakfast?

Shake with a mix of whey and hemp protein, along with cacoa powder, ground chia seeds, and powdered whole oats.

I'd have preferred bacon and eggs but simply didn't have the time. I also needed a good 80g or so of protein following the morning workout along with nearly the full day's fiber (hemp powder in particular).
